Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with getting a hair cut. This woman does not know what “cutting” hair means. Every time I go to get a hair cut the person always uses scissors, but she literally took the electric razor and went up an down my head until there was only a 1/4 inch of hair left. I don’t understand when I tell someone to give me a hair cut which should be about 5/8 to 3/4 of an inch how they can mess it up this horribly. I mentioned something and she just kept going (I guess if you mess it up that bad you might as well keep going, it’s not like you can make it any worse). This was like I was being scalped! I could have done this hair cut by myself and here I’m paying someone $16 to do it. Unbelievable. They should be paying for me to come here! If you come here, set your expectations VERY LOW. I came in asking for a BASIC trim and walked out looking worse. I got checked in and seated quickly (nice). My stylist was nice to talk to and I felt very comfortable, so I won’t fault her on customer service or personality. I explained that my hair was a little uneven on the ends since I had previously cut it myself (I’ve been doing so for years but decided to get a fresh cut from someone with more experience). I just wanted it freshened up and looking nice. She worked quickly and I walked out feeling good (my hair is curly-ish and she blow dried and flipped my ends out so at first glance, it seemed that she did a great job) but after going home and straightening my hair, I immediately realized I had made the wrong decision. Somehow my stylist made my ends EVEN MORE uneven and extremely choppy. I know you get what you pay for, but come on. I asked for a trim and some long layers, nothing out of the ordinary. I feel bad because she was very nice, but honestly I don’t know how you can be employed as a hair dresser without being able to perform a simple haircut. It did not look like a professional cut in the slightest. I had to immediately pull out my own shears and shape it up myself, so I’m essentially back where I started, before coming to the salon. Definitely would NOT recommend.

Critical: QualityI came in Thursday. Asked for 2,3 on the sides and just a little off the top. The women who cut my hair took half of the length. She even showed me what how much and processed to cut way shorter than that. The cut doesn’t even make sense. It just looks bad.

There’s a young woman who currently there who has accounted for 2 out of the 4 haircuts I’ve been able to get for my 4 year old child. He his developmentally delayed and sensory sensitive and for whatever reason he responds to and sits for her. She’s quick, efficient, is patient with his squirming, his tears and gets him out of the chair before he ever knows what hit him. I’ll never be able to properly express my gratitude to her.
