I drive to Brecksville to go to this Great Clips. The one on Ridge Rd has NOT provided a good experience. Brecksville is cleaner and more consistent (as consistent as these types of quick cut places can be). At the Ridge Rd location, the staff are more concerned about smoking and smoke breaks than cutting hair or cleaning. Worth the drive.

Most of the times that I’ve been here, I’ve had a good cut at a good price. Today though all three of the available stylists were unvaccinated. Everybody has their opinion but I just don’t feel comfortable having someone so near my face for so long who isn’t vaccinated.

I have gotten many cuts in the past, with no problems. I signed in online and went in. I was the only person waiting, but the staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than giving a haircut. My time has value too. I left and will not be back.

On 08/18, took my 10 yo son for a cut around 6:30 pm. There was one male stylist and one female stylist. The gentleman before us, didn’t want to see her, he waited for the male stylist who was busy with another customer. That tells a lot. I asked her to sanitize the seat. I wiped the seat with alcohol wipes I had in my purse, myself. I hope she disinfects the material & clippers between clients! She had an ugly & a nasty attitude, she was too rough physically, she kept pushing my son’s head and neck roughly without explaining or talking to him. His hair is short (less than 1 inch). He needed a trim. It was painful to watch, I couldn’t just pull him out of the seat halfway with a messy cut! Not a single smile. My son left in tears, told me she hurt him,pulled his hair hard, scratched his neck & ears. He felt abused physically & emotionally! He asked me to never take him back there. I expected a better stylist quality, a better customer service and a much improved hygiene at an upscale location like Brecksville. Never be back, won’t recommend.
