This review is low ONLY because I’ve been trying to find a salon near me for about a week. Googling this, it’s ten minutes from my home. So I called and asked when they close so I could come before and give them enough time to trim my hair and my sisters. So I leave work, we’re on our way and the address leads us to an empty field. How great. Then I call and ask for the address and it’s on the WEST SIDE! 35 MINUTES AWAY! There is absolutely no way that this has never came up before. They could atleast let their callers know their address just in case this happens. I was so excited because of the good reviews as well. It also made sense bc steelyards is closed, so I figured this location replaced it.

My son and I went here on December 26th. My sons hair turned out ok but my hair was a disaster. I asked for a shoulder length blunt cut. This would have been cutting about 3 inches off of my fine hair. I had to run errands the rest of the day with my kids so I hand scrunched it and was on my way. The following day, I was getting ready for work and decided to straighten my hair. There were multiple areas of my hair that were no where near even and areas that appear to be missed completely (I took pictures). My hair is not hard to cut. It’s fine and thin and pretty straight so I’m not sure how multiple areas were missed. We stopped going to the Brunswick location for the same reason….stylists that need more training. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Great Clips any more!

Got a haircut on Saturday, 11/26/16. Haircut was average but modifying my tip amount was not ok. Got a $14 haircut and tipped $3. Today, I check my credit card and see that the girl that cut my hair changed my tip to $5. Not cool. You can bet I will be taking this up with a manager and my credit card company. I could care less about the $2, but how many other people have had this done to them without them checking??? Very disappointed and can guarantee I won’t be coming back to Great Clips again.
