Critical: QualityI have gotten my haircut at Great Clips before with few issues, but the gentleman that cut my hair today was awful. I had very long hair and was looking to have it just below my shoulders so I could still put it up. He cut it soooo much shorter! The back is literally all the way up my neck. I have gotten my haircut at Great Clips before with few issues, but the gentleman that cut my hair today was awful. I had very long hair and was looking to have it just below my shoulders so I could still put it up. He cut it soooo much shorter! The back is literally all the way up my neck. Carl is the BEST. He listened to me and paid attention to a picture I showed him of me regarding how I wanted my hair done. He knocked it out of the park. I’m now a big fan. Ten years ago, I used to pay a stylist at another salon a LOT more money than I spent at this place. My tip for Carl was about the same amount as the the cost of the haircut itself, and was damn well worth it. Totally satisfied, and a continuing customer.

Critical: Quality, ValueOh noo. If you learned how to cut your hair during quarantine it is almost definitely better than getting it cut here. (At least if you happen to have the bad luck of being attended to by the gentlman that I did). I have medium/long hair and low expectations- I just need a straight line cut to get rid of split ends. The gentleman didn’t even use the spray bottle of water to dampen my (wavy/curly) hair to get a straight cut. He didn’t pull the hair taught when he was cutting either, adding to the uneven cutting.He *Yanked* out any little knots in my hair after twisting it up – I was sure to brush it out ahead of time too. The end result is just very uneven and even though I didn’t like it, I didn’t dare suggest he cut any further…I know not to ask much from a cut at this price – but it has never been a problem in the past bc it’s so simple. Now I have to pay to get it fixed. Maybe for a boy’s haircut you could have better luck. But girls with medium or long hair… run far. :/Service: HaircutOh noo. Lady that cut my hair did such a poor on I had to go home and use a electric razor to clean up the mess she made. She had no interest in being there. The gentleman that was also in there has cut my sons’ hair and I could have done better myself.

Ive never left a review before, but I went in for a trim in which she said I would lose 2 inches and I got 4+ cut off without double checking if i would be okay with the extra length being taken off. On top of that I was asked if I wanted layers and said sure! Well now the top of my hair is an entirely different length than the bottom, completely butchered and I can’t even wear it down without it looking like 2 separate cuts. Why offer layers if you don’t know how to do them? Really upset 🙁

Great place if you have a great stylist. Amanda is the best in the Bainbridge Ohio location. Very good, always listens, and if you are unhappy after the cut, she’ll do what she can to make it right. She’s the best.
