I’ve been to this location twice. The first time was about average–what I expected at a Great Clips. The only thing remarkable was how fast they cut my hair. This second time was absolutely atrocious. The guy before me stormed out of the building, cursing under his breath. I strongly considered leaving, but against my better judgement, I stuck around. Great Clips saves your cut sizing if you’ve been in the store before. I asked the lady if she had those numbers available, and she vaguely mumbled something I couldn’t understand. I showed her a picture of myself, and she said “ok.” She grabbed my hair, cut it seemingly randomly, held it up, and said, “is this good?” Not being a hairstylist myself and recognizing she clearly had something going on, I said, “looks great,” trying to defuse the situation– I didn’t want her to get upset and make it worse than it was already going to be. Long story short, my haircut is uneven, the worst haircut I could imagine, patches in the back.

I used to go to this store all the time for Cassidy, but their new stylists are horrible! I went in for a trim and ended up getting my hair butchered, the guy wasn’t even apologetic and charged me full price. The lady before me also had complaints which were brushed off. These people clearly don’t care about their customers and do the bare minimum.

There is a racist worker here. She kept repeating that she cannot understand my husband’s accent in the beginning. She then cut his hair according to how she wanted. At the end, she acted like she could finally hear him after she ruined his haircut. My husband calmly told her that she can fix it however she would like since his hair is too short now and there is nothing we can change. We visited multiple Great Clips and never been treated like this before.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityI typically have only bad experiences with GC, but this was different.So I am undergoing chemotherapy and shaved my head yesterday, but needed help today to finish the job. I called another location near campus and tried to go over the situation, but was rudely cut off and told that it would be full price. Which was fine, but this location was the only one open after 6, so I came here.I was greeted by Danielle (I believe – my brain is fried so forgive me if that’s not the right name!) and she explained that they had a waitlist up to close. When I explained everything to her, she was happy to fit me in! After I sat in the chair, she told me that Great Clips offers free haircuts to clients undergoing chemotherapy, and talked to me about what she knows about wig programs, etc. I also told her that a side effect of the meds was that my scalp was very sensitive, and she was so gentle and sweet the entire time. She even gave a lil spice to what little hair I had left and did my sideburns in a really neat way! I was complimented several times by her, saying that I looked great with the shaved head, which helped my confidence a lot. If it doesn’t fall completely out, I will definitely be returning to Danielle to get it buzzed back. She is professional, kind hearted, and not once did I feel like an inconvenience. Used the Great Clips app to get in line before I made it there. I only had to wait a few minutes to be seen. My stylist was very knowledgeable and gave me a great cut. Definitely recommend if you are just looking for a wash and cut (blow dry if you’re into that).
