I checked in online on 07/26 at 4:06 and arrived at 4:35 to find the door locked and the lights on. They were listed as open till 7pm. There were 3 ladies in the shop, and when I first tried to open the door the oldest lady started yelling and screaming at me from the register that they were closed. She was rude and used foul language.

I went in to get my three year olds hair cut. First of all I tried calling to see if they were busy and the lady on the phone was rude and just told us they have walk ins. I brushed it off thought maybe I was just over reacting. We get there and they ask what I want done never once introduce themselves of even acknowledge my kid just goes straight in the the clippers. He’s three that noise terrified him so while he’s trying to escape the chair and screaming help she chases him either the clippers and nicks his neck and back. This is where I step in and ask politely if she could please try to use scissors to complete they cut since that’s how it’s always been done. She replies with no you guys can leave and come back another day. So I left and I will never return. I later found out her name is supposedly Holly and the hairstylist I took him to afterwords to fix his hair even made a comment of “poor baby they butchered your hair”. I will NEVER return and hope that some action is taken after the many phone calls I’ve made not even attempting scissors and not even evenly curing half the back of his hair before sending him out the door is Ridiculous.

Ashley did a phenomenal job on my haircut. It was exactly as I wanted. This was my second visit. Holly cut my hair the first time. Only a few minutes waiting. Staff is welcoming, friendly and most of all very professional.

Two times in a row I was denied service. First one a little understandable. I walked in at 6:01pm and they closed at 6:00 but their door was still unlocked and the open sign was on. They told me they was closed. Then today I walked in at 5:40pm and started to check in and a lady said she didn’t have time to do another cut. She was finishing up one and there was another waiting. For a business that works for tips I was amazed to be denied. I’ve been using Great Clips for nearly 5 yrs. I work 3rd shift so it’s not always easy to run in at their apparent convenient time. Side note-my haircut usually takes about 10 minutes.

I would never go back to the place I just went in and was told to hold on because both people were busy well neither bothered to take my name so I thought okay cool they’ll get to me when they do well About 15 minutes after I walked in two other people walked in they stopped and took their name they were going to try to make me wait Another hour. I even mentioned that they told me to wait when I walked in then just never said anything. So awful like I kindly waited for a turn and was treated like that.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, ValueWell I was planning on getting my hair cut until I walked in. I was literally getting my hair cut for my mothers funeral. An older woman very politely asked one of the stylist why she wasn’t wearing a mask and both stylist said they didn’t have to do they weren’t going to. This poor woman told them she was very uncomfortable but she couldn’t get up to leave because she was already getting her hair cut. I asked if they could please wear a mask because I was literally going to my mothers funeral the next day who died of Covid and they literally told me they did not care and they didn’t even have masks to wear nor would they even respond when I offered to give them a clean, packaged disposable mask.
