I go here to get my son’s haircut and they are always so friendly and take their time. Today I had a horrible experience with Leila she did not take her time at all and was done in less than 5 minutes. She did not take my sons feelings or desires in consideration like they usually do. She barely spoke to me or even asked me I had to tell her and even after I did she proceeded to not acknowledging my request. He made my son cry after the haircut because she did not take the time to even ask what he wanted. She was so rude after paying and basically threw the receipt at me. Horrible experience will be switching or only asking for the other nice lady’s that are there.

Good evening, I have never been in there business. But one day African American mother and daughter was close to there business. After coming from the other hair salon. We decided that we were going to sit down outside and wait on a cab. So we sat there for bout 30 minutes not bothering anybody at all minding our own business. Not block there business. Back story, I have lived in Richmond for bout 45 years and I have never had no cop every stop or be concern bout my well beginning before. So the cop pulls up and I tell my daughter watch this concern cop is going to ask why are we sitting and if we are ok. Great clips called the police because we’re simply waiting on a cab. It was racial profiling at it finest. But no one from the inside decided to come out and ask was we ok. Then just assume that were lost or hurt. How did they know that. Because we didn’t have a car to jump in to. The moral of the story we know ya was prejudice. But to call the cops is crazy. I have been thinking bout this for a minute. It would have been ok if I was by myself . But my daughter was there and it left a scare on her thinking whites are this way. I wouldn’t go to them you can keep all your red necks I was hurt because I had to explain that to my daughter that there some people that still don’t like blacks and there always going to be people don’t like you because of your skin. So we walked away because we didn’t want to hurt there business. Thank you for letting my daughter see what true racism really looks like.

My child went in for a haircut been waiting 45 minutes they were taking everyone back that just walked through the door. Guess they must know someone that works there. I would definitely not recommend anyone to use their services. We will definitely not come back Haircut

They will mess your hair up and they are vary unsanitary the person who gave me my hair cut wiped his nose with his finger then wiped it on to his shirt and the can’t tell a difference between a 5 and a 2 they also don’t know what a 1/4 of a inch is I am very disappointed and un satisfied. I’ve not had my hair cut short short in YEARS. for the past decade I could put it in a ponytail so I was quite nervous to allow someone to cut on it. But the manager at great clips beside sun tan city tool that away. She turned it into a great experience. I will get my hair here for now on. Thanks for doing everything and for doing such a great job on my hair.

Would Not recommend Went in today to get a haircut and could already tell she didn’t want to be bothered by me the moment I walked in she got me checked in and stuff and I followed her back to get my hair cut showed her a picture of what I wanted and my hair is thick and tangly I already knew that! That’s why I wanted my hair cut and thinned out and she started brushing and stuff and she says my hair is to overly processed and to hard to do and she coudnt give me a hair cut because of that reason I’m very disappointed I’ve never been satisfied with great clips in the beginning but now I’m really not! Critical: ProfessionalismI went there a little while ago for a haircut. I struggle with dandruff and the person cutting my hair thought I had lice. They had even brought the other stylist over to confirm it, and they had both said I had it. But what I thought was REALLY unprofessional is that they had continued to talk about it while they were still doing other clients hair. After crying the entire way home cause I had never had lice, my friend checked my hair multiple times with treatment stuff I had bought from Meijer she had found absolutely NO lice. It turned out they had confused my dandruff for lice, not even the eggs which could have been reasonable, they thought it was the bugs. After they have styled so many people’s hair, I would have assumed they knew what they were talking about.
