I went to get a hair cut, and some guy cut my hair. He didn’t look very professional. He was wearing a stretched wife beater, and so I immediately was skeptical. I asked for a fade, and a little off the top. The fade was horrible. The top was cut so unevenly. The dude was just trying to rush through it. I had to go to sports clips the next day to get it fixed. So if you get the guy who has a man bun with shaved sides, be ready to head over to sports clips to get it fixed!

Couple of stars for the politeness and friendliness of the stylists. Start going there enough and they’ll remember your name. Unfortunately the past several times I’ve been here the results have been less than impressive. As with anyone I’m fairly particular about my hair and how it affects my overall confidence. I make it a habit of over explaining what I want and how I want it (for reference my hair is not complicated, it’s a medium skin fade with longer hair on top). Despite this I’ve come to learn that if I ask for certain areas not to be cut, they’ll be cut. If i ask for a certain length to be cut off, I can expect to lose twice that length or more. And the fades (and the definition of “skin”) vary from person to person. Overall I feel like I’ve just been dissatisfied and had to try and fix and adjust it too many times. I’d prefer to go somewhere where I feel like I’m actually being listened to and given the cut I want, not the one they think I should have.
