E. Venice Ave location. Usually a 4 star but not this time: As a regular customer, I was shocked when almost gleefully turned away as a walk in because they were fully booked 70 mins before closing. Female stylist was cold, robotic & transactional unlike other employees at this location. I’ll go back to support others there, but will refuse her service. Shameful!

Nice place, but don’t trust the clip notes. First they were recorded wrong and I still got a decent haircut despite them using clippers around my ears on the side (despite only previously having them used on the back). I assumed I’d get that same haircut this time, but they went even further up the sides of my head with the clippers, and now it looks horrible to me. Tell them EXACTLY what you want, EVERY time. Wish the stylist hadn’t stood between me and the mirror…

Great service. Only had to wait 15 mins. Kyle, cut my husband’s hair. He looks amazing. Also Viv, is a great hair stylist. Both were very sweet and nice. Great time to go in is about 1:30 p.m. it was empty at this time.

Lori is an awesome manager and stylist! I have been coming to this Great Clips for almost 2 years with my 90 year old mother that has dementia and can be super difficult. Her new medicine has helped tremendously with agitation so the other day I was surprised when she was not cooperating. Lori stayed calm and didn’t throw in the towel – she got my mom’s hair washed and then offered to cut it right there in the wash station chair (a HUGE help). She went the extra mile to be patient and work with us (I was sweating bullets!). She always exhibits these qualities. I am 100% positive most hair stylists and stores would not be so accommodating and I honestly can say I would understand. I have had several other stylists there be just as nice and I think it is because Lori (as manager) sets the tone. Thank you!

Love the mobile check in, and always get a great cut. I’m not really picky, but still don’t want to look goofy. I’ve never had a bad cut at the Laural Rd. location, although a friend from Germany did, and when we went back a couple days later, they were very apologetic, and took him right away and fixed it…so great customer service after the fact as well.

Came here a couple of weeks ago to chop off my hair. Vivian did a great job and gave me exactly what I was looking for, an A-line Bob with a little stacking in the back. I’ve gotten my hair cut at other places (both Great Clips and a more expensive hair cuttery) and didn’t get what I was looking for, though maybe that was me not knowing what to ask for (so know how to explain what you want or bring pics!).
