This is regarding the new Great Clips at Beachwalk on CR 210 in St. Johns, Florida. DO NOT take your child here unless the hair stylists receive more training! I never write reviews, but when it comes to my child, I am furious.

William was very outgoing and helped me relax, I had very damaged hair by bleaching it. And he cut it perfectly, and framed my face. He has a good work ethic and very kind. I recommend him. Haircut

My son just needed a trim and wanted to keep his hair long and this is what I had communicated to the stylist. When I saw that she started taking more off than what he wanted I reminded her and she just reassured me saying that it was necessary and that it’s not that much and proceeded anyway. My husband even came over and explained to her again about my son wanting to keep the length long but she proceeded to explain how she’d already explained to me that it’s not much at all etc, and how we al needed to move away from her space….so rude! But she cut off so much hair to the point where my son was in tears and asked for us to just leave. Then she tells us it’s on the house, like that’s supposed to make it all better. I’m so disappointed in the service…how can someone is providing a service to a consumer think it’s okay to not listen to the consumer’s wishes and to just do as they please. Also did she not feel bad at all for my 9 year old son who was so excited to get it cut the way he wanted right before school starts. Pathetic!

They did a wonderful job with my hair and they are also being very safe. they are taking temperatures when you go in and they are requesting that everyone wear masks. The conversation was wonderful and I will definitely be back over and over again. Thank you so much for being open and I appreciate everything that you guys do.

I have never seen my son cry after a haircut. No apologies from the stylist, I believe the manager was there and she did not even come say anything. We were in complete shock or what just happened. The staff was to worried about doing 100 haircuts rather than worrying about 9 years old feelings. The owner of this location can simply respond by saying contact customers service. Ridiculous.
