Kathy cut mine and my husband’s hair. She was wonderful. Great hair cut great personality. We will come to her everytime now. The place was clean she wiped everything down which wasn’t needed. This was the worst haircut experience we’ve ever had. I took my son (14) here to get his haircut. For respect of social distancing, I stayed in the car and let him go in on his own (we’ve done this before at different locations). He “had” shoulder length hair and just wanted a trim. He asked the stylists (Trisha) to just take off a couple of inches all the way around. At some point, she turned him to where he couldn’t see himself in the mirror and proceeded to cut off almost all his hair. When he saw what she had done, my son was devastated. His hair is a big part of his personality. This was a major mistake and inexcusable in my opinion. You should never turn the client where they cannot see and you should always err on leaving it too long.

I’m sure it was just the lady I had but I’ll skip this location and try another. I think great clips is fine. The lady that cut my hair didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. You could put some blame on me since I’m not used to knowing “numbers” that I get my hair cut. Just recently started using great clips. Last barber didn’t ask me what numbers I wanted. We said we would start long then go shorter. Didn’t happen. Pretty much got a buzz cut to start with.

I have been coming to this location for 6+ months after multiple bad cuts from the Smart Style at various Wal-Mart locations. I bring the whole family (Me, Husband, Kids – even my mom!) If you would like courteous and personable service – look no further! Cindy, the manager is an excellent people person. Alexis is also very friendly and a great stylist!

Among professional magazines, there’s a seldom mentioned service – one that sets the tone for your Great Clips experience. I don’t think professionals realize how important it is. It is the Shampoo! The cost is about $5. That seems like a lot – but IF the stylist truly cleans the hair and the scalp by shampooing thoroughly with a good scrubbing all over the scalp (scalp massage), rinses well, then repeats the thorough shampoo, rinses thoroughly again, applies & works in conditioner, then rinses that final rinse, it is well worth that – plus a very healthy tip! The client feels good and is more likely to be happier & appreciate the stylist’s work! I recommend choosing a stylist that has nails that are a “functional” length. A stylist that has nails that look more like she’s ready for a fancy event than being at work (as a hair stylist) may indicate that she is not necessarily interested in washing and styling your hair! Hope this helps professionals understand what the clients discuss amongst each other, but often fail to discuss with the stylist because they don’t want to be rude or seem “petty” about something that may SEEM trivial! A great shampoo is worth a great tip!

I made an appt, they said it would be 45 minutes, I asked if they would call me so I could eat next door at fire house subs. I came back 7 minutes before the 45 eta, and they had given away my spot despite me being early and expected me to wait another hour. I will never go here ever again. Famous hair is 2 minutes away and did a great job with no hassle on short notice.
