Critical: Professionalism, QualityI checked in online for my autistic daughter. We arrived 20 minutes after the business opened. The first stylist I had previously and was not impressed so did not want to use her. The second stylist I had previously used and she cut my hair wrong after telling me what I wanted was going to look stupid. So I passed on her. The 3rd stylist asked how long I wanted my daughters hair and I told her collarbone length, she told me that the 4th stylist would have to do it but didn’t give me reason why. Just that she couldn’t. This frustrated me. The 4th and last stylist was up and came to call a name. She didn’t call my daughters and when someone else who came in after my daughter started to go with her I was shocked and asked why. She said because she was part of a group and they have to do everyone in the group before taking someone else. I ended up sitting an hour. Then my daughter was given a very uneven hair cut and she blamed my child for not sitting still. We go to check out. There machine isn’t working properly. They tell us they are now no longer taking cards. They tell me to use the atm in the parking lot. I have to pay so I go and use the atm. It charged me $3.00. I politely ask if I could have a discount for the 3$ off my daughter’s haircut since I had no intentions of using an atm when coming in. They say no and that is not their problem. One stylist does not cut hair well. In fact, it was so uneven that my sister, who is not a trained stylist, fixed the haircut. I wanted to try again, rather than impose on her. So, when my turn came up after on-line check-in, and the one who does poor haircuts called me back, I asked for the next stylist who was available. There were 3 others in the store. It was before noon, but could understand if some were taking lunch. Waited another 20 minutes, and when no-one emerged from the back to cut hair I left. While waiting, my sister observed a customer who emerged with a noticeably bad haircut and I was able to confirm that the same poor stylist cut his hair. I will not be going to Great Clips in Griffin again, and would recommend that you avoid the place as well if you want a reasonable cut.

Great clips has been cutting my hair for some time now. I like how no matter where I’m working or what area I’m in, I can stop in with their convenient online scheduling and receive the same great service. However I live in Griffin and use the one on N. Expressway at the crossing most often and yesterday was the same, however my stylist (Jessica) whom is my favorite) went just a little further to make sure I had a great experience. She is always so pleasant to talk with, she makes me feel like I deserve to be in the seat getting all the attention and special treatment and somehow I deserved it all. She’s always making new suggestions and updating the system to ensure that I get exactly what I want the next visit. She also does a really great job and in a timely manner. It only took me less than 15 minutes from the time I walked in until I walked back out. I felt the need to take a few minutes and give her the recognition she deserves. So thank you Jessica! And thank you great clips!

No one waiting in lobby, open chairs and stylists but turned away as they were “closing” in 45 minutes and the online check-ins hadn’t arrived. Should be first come first serve basis despite the online “check-in” that the lady defines as a “reservation.” Been going here for years and will never visit another great clips again.

Went in at 2:02 I left at 3:00. When I arrived two ladies were at the desk and I asked if I could check-in. They said someone else would do it and walked to the back. After 40 minutes of me being there someone finally check me in. I was still looked over so I finally left. Haircut
