Went in for my son to get a trim, about 1-inch off, should be something anyone should be able to do. He now has an incredibly crooked bowl cut and I’m stuck spending even more money to get it fixed. I would not trust going back for anyone there to fix it. Very unfortunate experience.

Friday and the door is locked at 10 til. No excuse. They just felt like closing early. Despite things like 1 trimmed sideburn or missing half my bangs on evening things out, I still come here. Well, paste tense. As an inconvenience for staff chosing when they honor posted business hours I’ll just get my hair cut elsewhere. I spy a barbershop in Canton and several more great clips should I chose to stomach their inconsistent service further. This where all of us come to get our hair cut, it’s nice that they keep our profile so they know exactly how we want our hair done. Today when we came in it was stuffy inside, one of the lady’s propped open the door to let fresh air in and it felt nice. However this other lady that worked there, I don’t know her name, she was wearing a pink shirt and had really short hair, got very loud and angry saying that she would have to just stand there and sweat because the door was opened. Which I was a little confused about, but anyway she was just being unprofessional and made myself as well as other customers uncomfortable. I definitely did not want her cutting my hair after that scene. I hope this is not a new normal thing. Because you’ll be loosing lot’s of business.

It’s an affordable and efficient place to get my children’s hair cut. Farah was so patient with my young son. I’ve always taken him to children’s salons, but we’ll go here from now on because this is the first time he didn’t cry/scream through the whole cut.

I took my senior dad here today to get a haircut and beard trim. We checked in through the app and arrived when it was our turn but still waited 20 minutes past the expected wait time. When it came time for my dad, the individual planning to cut his hair was rude off the bat. She told us where to sit. When I tried to clarify the exact seat, she ignored me the first two times then finally answered. I assisted my dad to the seat. She then came back and asked us what we wanted for his haircut. I answered and told her an inch off his hair along with his beard trimmed, which is his usual. Before I could finish my sentence, she interrupted me and said I don’t do beards. I mentioned that he has gotten it done the past few times. I understood if she wasn’t comfortable with it, though. So I then asked if she could see if anyone else could do it and that we would be willing to wait longer because he needed both a hair cut and his beard trimmed. She replied by saying “I don’t know, I can cut his hair.” She just kept repeating she could cut his hair only but not beard and was clearly not trying to be helpful or reach out to the hair stylists so at this point I left with my dad who was upset with the situation as well. As we were leaving I could hear the other hair stylists saying “what’s going on?” And another one answered “she’s refusing to cut his beard.” But no one else offered any assistance. We won’t be back to this location.

I’ve been coming to this Great Clips location for a bit over 10 years. This location in Towne Lake is always clean, any time I’ve used their restroom is is always clean, and it is clear what the wait time is regardless of if you check in online or in person. Their app makes it easy to check in for yourself and anyone else you’re bringing with you such as a spouse or children. I appreciate that Great Clips actually listens and doesn’t get “cut happy” when they see someone with very long hair. I grow my hair down to my hips to donate about every 3-4 years to Wigs for Kids so when growing it out, I only want the ends trimmed to keep it healthy. They’ve always been good about listening to me and only trimming the ends. I’ve gone to far more expensive salons and they seemingly can’t follow such simple instructions and get cut happy. But at Great Clips in Towne Lake, I have never had a bad experience.

I have been using this location for 10 years+-, I checked in online and was given a zero-minute wait, I arrived at the location a few minutes later and the wait was 122 minutes. I waited for an hour even though my check-in time was 0 minutes. When it got my turn they called the wrong name, then realized it after the person got in the chair, instead of asking the person to get up that they had made a mistake, they just said oops and went ahead cutting the person’s head. Life is about character and it was disappointing to see the person that jumped in the chair in my place, a grown man in his 40,s not get up when it was clear it was not his turn. Most people would have gotten up without anyone saying anything, he didn’t which speaks volumes,, and Great Clips didn’t ask him to. This winds me up with Great Clips, not that means anything. I guess this is just another sign of the times
