I went there for a hair cut. Although I forgot to check in online, the wait was short. The man who did the cut asked how I wanted it and I showed him a picture of my last cut. He did a fantastic job! I want to first say I have used aura a few times the past year and she’s sweet and kind and I have never loved a cut more then when she did my hair. She also did my 5 year old daughters yesterday and it’s beautiful. My one star review is for a stylist named Ryan. She’s rude hateful and short with both children and parents. I showed her a picture of my sons cut he had months ago by Don and she immediately said she can’t do that. My son has a bald spot he doesn’t like people to ask about so I wanted it longer on top and buzzed on the sides. She said she couldn’t do that. I’m not a hair stylist I don’t know what exactly it’s called or what I’m asking for so I told her exactly what i just said and she began to cut. She wanted me to buy a product that my child needs which is no big deal I did but she would say something then mumble kind of and I couldn’t quite understand her. When we left my son was crying because his hair looked awful and she said to straighten his shoulders and he said he did and very meanly told him he was lopsided and straightened his shoulders for him. He said she was mean and hateful and made him nervous and uncomfortable and he was scared to tell me by how meanly she seemed. I would not recommend taking any child to her simply for how unfriendly but also because she doesn’t know how to do kids/boys cuts. I try to use my better judgement but when you go into a business you try to trust that they know the service they are there to do. I have already sent an email via customer service.

My husband took my 2 year old to get a haircut. He walked in and asked if they do haircuts for children and the woman immediately interrupted him and said “I mean yeah but it will be at least an hour wait, at least.” My husband then checked in online and waited. The time did not go down and only kept getting longer. However, when my husband was inside the salon, there was one person getting a haircut and multiple “stylists” just sitting in the chairs on their phones. If you don’t want to do children cuts, maybe find a salon who doesn’t provide them. And if you’re not good enough at your job to work somewhere else, maybe look into a different profession.

Aura and Don do not listen to instructions, nor do they know how to work the computer system. We’ve been coming here for years, this is the third time in several months that they have messed up our hair and pretended it wasn’t their fault. There are ten of us that visit each time. Went in to get a haircut the lady who was checking me in was cussing because she dropped something no greeting asked me my phone number to check me in and walked away I look at the check in screen and the wait was almost 30 min very unprofessional one lady was cutting hair the other lady disappeared and I just left they didn’t act like they were interested in the customer– let me add I was the only one there waiting and the wait was 30 min
