I had bad experience with great clips at 1140 woodruff rd, Greenville SC on Friday January 20th, I arrived to the location around 5:35 -5:40 PM. I waited at the front by the register to sign in, the stylist at the location left me waiting for more than 15 minutes at the register then she said she can’t do my hair because they close at 6 PM (I don’t know her name, but she is white female, approximately 5.4 feet height, probably 180-200Lb weight and has purple short hair). This was frustrating and disrespectful from this stylist, the other stylist at the location didn’t say anything. I am regular customer with my family at this location, 3 kids and my husband. this stylist was disrespectful. She refused to do my hair. I tried to remove the one star from the rating but i don’t know how, this service doesn’t deserve even one star.

Got a wonderful bob cut (more like renovation, though) from a very personable and skilled employee named Denise. I’d go back in a heartbeat if my hair didn’t look so good already. Walked in today at 6:55 after a few other errands after work, the open sign was on, the open board was out on the side walk, and I would have been next in line to be seated. Critical: Quality, ValueI went in to get a haircut. The girl gapped my hair and I didn’t realize right away. I paid for it and left. Later that night my friend noticed and said something. I called a couple days later to try to get a refund especially since the lady didn’t say a word about it. The manager wasn’t there and was supposed to call me the next day. She never did. Go up there today and try to talk to her and she is on vacation. Lady takes a pic of my hair and sends it to the manager. According to her this is the first she heard about it. The lady I had talked to on the phone said she had sent her my info the day I called. I live in spartanburg so I can’t just come up there any time. The service was fine. I got a wash and a trim which was $17. Then she was going to charge me $30 to blow it dry!!!!! She said it was considered a styling. What??? I don’t want you to style it…its ringing wet! Then she said you can sit under the blow dryer. I was on my lunch break! That would have taken forever!

My haircut was fine, nothing special but fine. The experience was HORRIBLE!!!! The guy cutting my hair did not speak to me at all except to ask me what I wanted and what I thought about the final product. I was the only customer there so all the other employees were talking and all they did was complain about how they hated their jobs and didn’t want to be there. I won’t return to this location, the haircut I got wasn’t even worth the $12 and I regret tipping him at all.
