They did a phenomenal job cutting our hair, and throughout the entire process the conversation wasn’t forced or uncomfortable, it was truly organic happiness to serve others and we shared a few laughs, too. I took my son for a little trim of his long, shaggy hair. The lady began by telling me that they were very busy and expected to finish every haircut quickly. I told her that I would rather her take her time because we love his long shaggy hair. I showed her a picture and she said she understood. The finished cut was NOTHING like the picture and she said “Well, I think I did a good job. I like it.” I did not appreciate those comments nor did I think they mattered. We were not happy with the cut. I even told her that my other son would no longer be getting a haircut.

I went to Great clips today August 9th 2022 and explained to the girl the cut I wanted and I was shocked that she used electric trimmer on my hair and not scissors. To make a long story short, I could not see the sides well. I was looking at the back. When I got home My Aunt was the one who saw the bald spot ,one side is longer than the other and above my right ear you can see my skin. I’m not a happy woman right now because it cannot be corrected where the bald spot is. I have been going to this Great Clips in Ocean Isle Beach since they opened beside publik’s and I have never ever experienced this. It’s embarrassing and I’m just beside myself.

Do not get your kid’s haircut here. Especially from the lady with unicorn pony tail. I had to fix his hair when we got back home. It took her 4 minutes and said she was done. Didn’t even bother to style it up either. Several missed spots in the front and back and the fade on the side was crooked. It was supposed to be a crew cut but I don’t think she even knew what that was. Just don’t be lazy like we were and go find an actual barber that’s been doing it for a while.
