Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis was a very pleasant surprise. As someone who normally goes to a proper mens barber shop (which is heavily backed up due to restriction policies currently), this whole experience blew me away. The wait was almost non existent. The entire place was clean and I watched them sanitize everything they touched, even instantly sanitizing each tool multiple times during my cut. Heather was incredibly nice, and very talented. This was a very pleasant surprise. As someone who normally goes to a proper mens barber shop (which is heavily backed up due to restriction policies currently), this whole experience blew me away. The wait was almost non existent. The entire place was clean and I watched them sanitize everything they touched, even instantly sanitizing each tool multiple times during my cut. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI tried calling the customer service number but it actually doesn’t work. I was in there Friday around 4pm. I checked in online from the parking lot it said there was no wait time. The receptionist was very polite. The stylist (thin blond lady)was finishing up on a guy and while being very talkative never once acknowledged me. I sat and waited for nearly 10 minutes still nothing. No I’ll be right with you or anything. Even as I got up to just leave nothing I wasn’t acknowledged at all. I tried calling the customer service number but it actually doesn’t work. I was in there Friday around 4pm. I checked in online from the parking lot it said there was no wait time. The receptionist was very polite. The stylist (thin blond lady)was finishing up on a guy and while being very talkative never once acknowledged me. I especially like the way they talk to my son and make him feel welcome and normal.The first time I went there I walked in and asked them if I could use the restroomThey told me that I couldn’t the restroom was down. I walked on by the young lady that works there and said well, I’ll just go where ever you go. I walked on past her and found the restroom in fine condition so I walked on in and tooka leak. I explained that I have to take blood pressure meds! When I have to go it’s not up for debate! Anyway,That was my only problem. I always tip between five and ten dollars. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI don’t normally speak poorly against businesses, but if you have a child, I would highly recommend that you do not patron the Great Clips Byers Creek in Mooresville.My wife took my 4-year-old son to get his hair cut this afternoon, and the behavior of the employees toward him was completely unacceptable and insulting. They treated him so poorly and roughly that he was crying and scared, and the stylist blamed the issues on him.When they went to leave, my son asked for a prize, and the stylist told him that she didn’t think he deserved a prize and that he shouldn’t get one…a 4 year old! That’s for the parent to decide, not the stylist.I have never called corporate for an issue with a business, but we have called corporate to complain because of how my son was treated, and the manager handled the situation even worse than the stylist.I have not experienced that level of poor customer service in a long time.
