Both my wife and I got a haircut. We always request Tammy from the Stadium Dr location ( Kohl’s plaza) Wake Forest. Tammy does a great job and very personable. As my wife says, “I like how she cuts my hair, she is so nice”. That’s a great compliment as after 1 or 2 times in the past those cutting her hair are usually put in the category of dog meat.

Asked my hair stylist to cut it a specific way, showed her references. She says she’s able to do it. I asked for a fade and discussed with her in the beginning what I wanted. She glanced at the photos multiple times during the session to double check some things and seemed like she knew what she was doing as she seemed to operate skillfully. I couldn’t exactly see what she was doing as I wear glasses and can’t see without them, so I had to wait till the near end to see the results. She ended up giving me a pixie cut and told me so at the near of haircut. I glanced up at her and just said “what” and she said “oh wait, I’m so sorry”. She had to give me a way shorter cut then I requested because of this and the texture she had added in the beginning is all messed up. I appreciate her apologizing but not listening to my request and messing up my hair right before starting a new job is unacceptable. Came here because of short notice. Won’t be returning back and making that mistake again, Sport clips on retail drive is a much better option if you want a decent priced haircut with a stylist who’ll actually follow your request and listen to you.

Positive: ProfessionalismI took my 4 year old daughter here for the first time (she hadn’t had a hair cut in a LONG time and needed one) I was greeted right away and had very little wait as a walk-in. The cut was very nice however, when I got home and sent a picture to my husband he said it looked like it had barely been cut (my fault for not asking to cut it shorter while at the salon). I called the salon back and politely asked if they could cut a little more off. The person on the phone was so understanding and said sure and to come on back. When I came back the same hairdresser took us right away and cut more length off, at no extra charge, and was very nice about it (which I’m so grateful for!) I believe her name was Nicki. It was very easy to sign in on line and let the text alert get you there on time. The wait was minimal and the staff greeted as soon as I arrived. It was not busy so I got seated under 5 minutes. Louise was friendly and helpful and did a super job on my hair. It looks and feels great. Recommend this Great Clips for sure.
