I have had my haircut by 2 different individuals from the Kernersville location that have completely blown me away with how horrible my fade looks when they were finished. I would recommend not ever giving them a chance. One of the employees knew, when I requested for one worker to not cut my hair, that they were a problem and did not preform well. Why are they still there. It’s the worst haircut I’ve ever had and it’s happened by 2 different people in the same salon. There was one woman who did an amazing job and I hope you get the ride hair stylist. Be warned.

I have been to this establishment several times, but I have NEVER had such a bad haircut as I did today. I told the lady that I didn’t want it cut really short and that I like to spike it in the back, a typical pixie cut. . .but no, it’s so short that it won’t do anything in the back, it’s as short as a guy’s hair. Up in my crown of my hair, my right side near my part is a different length than the other side. Let’s just say that I will be purchasing a wig to cover up this horrible haircut and I will NEVER go back there again! Do yourself a favor and not go there unless you are a guy or a lady that wants just a simple haircut because that’s all they know how to do! I’m just furious! I like my hair short, but don’t want to look like a guy!

I have taken my boys here 3 times. Each time their hair was messed up. 2 times we’ve had them “fix” their mess up. This third time we took them to a different place to fix their mess up. I’m an African American woman so of course I have a thicker texture. I came for a simple shampoo and trim. Off rip walking in was very awkward the way they were looking at me and my sister. The lady that was servicing me made an unpleasing sound gesture when she placed me at the shampoo bowl. Her entire demeanor was as if she didn’t want to service me. Once she had me in the chair and was detangling my hair she wasn’t being careful and was pulling my hair. I kindly declined the remainder of the service because I’m not up for spending hard earned money and not receiving good customer service. I’ve been to Great Clips in Winston Salem before. The staff was amazing! I came here expecting the same treatment and was HIGHLY disappointed!

Terrible experience. Will never ever go there again. He trimmed one side around my ear and then basically forgot to trim my other ear. One side of my head is an inch longer than the other side. He completely ruined my hair. I would give 0 stars if I could. Also it was way too short than I wanted. Was very sloppy and did the cut way too fast. Employees seemed like they didn’t care about their jobs or their customers. They were even complaining about a different customer while doing my hair. The entire experience was rushed and terrible. And my hair is too short to even fix it. Honestly I shouldn’t have even been expected to pay for it, he ruined my hair and it should have been free. Waste of money.

I came in on a day that I have been mentally emotionally and physically defeated and was still 3 weeks in the process of grieving a great loss. An sweetheart named Eli was ready when I arrived for my online check in. He gave me the best wash, cut and blow out I’ve had in years. He also ministered to my heart as a song came on the radio that made me cry. He made me laugh and smile and forget my sadness. It’s rare to find a great, experienced (17 years) cosmetologist in a shop like this. Today, God sent me an angel disguised as a Stylist. I’m so GRATEFUL for your kindness and big heart! THANK YOU ELI & GREAT CLIPS!!!! I will be back now much more often just to check in with him and I recommend him to anyone.
