Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have naturally curly hair and have always gotten my hair cut while it’s been curly. Two weeks ago I went here to get a hair cut my exact words were “I’d like to get it straight and evened out.” The lady who cut my hair wet it with a spray bottle, rushed and didn’t even part my hair where I part it, she was flipping my hair on direction to the other and on top of that she was done in 5 minutes. I knew my hair was not how I wanted it so I personally bought a flat iron to see how bad she messed up. I went back to the store to tell her and she sits me down and tells me since I have naturally curly hair I need to come in with straight hair to get it cut evenly (mind you I’ve never had a problem with other hair stylist not cutting my hair even while it’s wet and curly) she also pursued to tell me she did not see anything wrong with my hair so I walk out and head to another hair salon in Chapel Hill. The lady whom cut my hair saw how uneven it was washed it And cut it while it was curly. She took her time to make sure it was even and even blow dried it to make sure it was all evened out. This lady who fixed my hair took about an hour compared to the lady at great clips who rushed and had me out in 5 minutes. If you do not know how to cut textured hair please do not cut it and tell the customer to come in with straight hair next time. I have naturally curly hair and have always gotten my hair cut while it’s been curly. Two weeks ago I went here to get a hair cut my exact words were “I’d like to get it straight and evened out.” The lady who cut my hair wet it with a spray bottle, rushed and didn’t even part my hair where I part it, she was flipping my hair on direction to the other and on top of that she was done in 5 minutes.
