Had a great experience at great clips this week. I checked in online and they were ready as soon as I arrived. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that cut my hair because she took so much care and pride in her work. I went from a bob just above my shoulders to a asymmetric short pixie cut and I have difficult hair to work with sometimes. It’s curly in some places and wavy in others. She cut it damp then dried it to see how it looked dry and cut some more, then straightened it to make sure it would look right when I did that at home and fixed some of the stragglers lol. I’ve been to places that charge $50 for a haircut that did not care this much. I know sometimes it’s hit or miss at great clips for some but I will definitely be back to this location.

I have been visiting this location for at least the last five years. They do a consistently good job cutting my hair, and I leave please with their work. If you are unsure about the hairstyle you want, they can make suggestions. Or, if you show the stylist a haircut photo, they can replicate it. If you download the app, you can find styles there also; once you have your style tell the stylist to put it in your profile when you check out. You can say to them just like last time, and they’ll know what to do.

Well to start the place wasn’t bad. I’m African American with thick curly hair. All I wanted was a wash and blow dry. The girl that serviced me her name was Taylor. She did the best she could not gonna lie. If I knew she didn’t really have any hands on practice with my type of hair I would not have came. They need more people like her that is willing to learn. They would definitely get more customers. Some of her coworkers gave her weird looks like trying to figure out why she was doing my hair.
