The second girl I got to do my hair was absolutely amazing. She did exactly what I wanted and knew what was best for my hair type. The first time I went in, however…not the case!! It was close to closing, which i didn’t know at the time, and my hair was extremely long. Hadn’t had it cut in a while due to a “bad experience”. So I went in and had my name called because I had already registered for my appointment online and the girl takes me back and starts combing my hair out. Then she combs it some more, looking closely at each individual strand. She continues to tell me, ” Honey, I’m not going to be able to cut your hair, you have knits.” I didn’t even know what that meant, I’d never had LICE BEFORE!! She said she would have to talk to her manager so she goes to her manager who is with a client, and proceeds to tell them and anyone else within earshot that I had lice and that she didn’t want to cut my hair. So I had to get up and walk out in front of everyone in the salon, more embarrassed than I have ever been in my life. But before I left she made sure to try to sell me a $50 lice shampoo and $40 spray. The next day I went straight to the hospital to be checked because there was almost no way I had been exposed to lice and I wanted to be sure I had them before paying that much for a treatment. So after freaking out for almost a full 24 hours thinking I had lice, the nurse told me she saw absolutely nothing in my hair, and nothing that even resembled a knit. So thanks, lady butch from Great Clips, who didn’t want to take the time to cut my long hair because it was too close to the end of your day. If you had told me you didn’t have enough time, I would have completely understood. But instead you embarrassed me and made think I had bugs in my hair. Who does that???!!!! I’m still in shock over this experience and I hope it never happens to anyone again. When I went back in after being looked at in the hospital, the girl that accused me of having knits in my hair wasn’t there for me to confront and the woman who took care of me was wonderful. Nonetheless, my first experience was horrific. Just thought people should know…

The trips there are great! The staff are very kind, and good at what they do! We have had some encounters though with a few mistakes. Otherwise, great staff, great products, and sometimes great outcomes! Can recommend!
