My family and I will never go back to Great Clips….The end of this saga will tell you why. I have tried the on line sign in many many times and it’s worthless. Twice I was pressed for time and had to walk away as the wait time more than doubled. A couple of times the wait was supposed to be long but I took the chance and got right in. Each time I was given various excuses. I quit using the app. Tonight I went in and of course was asked did you sign in on line. I said no, I don’t use the app any more. The lady signed me in. The 2 stylist were finishing up clients and no one else was in the place. After a few minutes, 3 ladies walk in. The stylist asked if they signed in. Answer – yes for my daughter but I’m going to add my mother as well. A few minutes later, both stylists finish up. I hear the one seemingly in charge mumble something to the other stylist and hear my name. She then sends the one lady to the second stylist – who has cut my hair several times – and immediately cleans her station. A little strange but ok, she’s going to cut my hair. Nope. She finishes sweeping and calls “mom” to her station. I asked what was happening – I’ve been waiting. I was told “well they came in as a group …… and signed in on line”. Every other time I’ve seen a “group” come in, they are serviced by the same person. Not tonight. Did I mention all parties were the same nationality….and not mine. I walked out of Great Clips for the last time.

Not one to ever leave negative reviews but I had to share my experience. The haircut I received was completely unacceptable and I have a hard time believing the girl who touched my hair has any experience or certification. I asked for a very basic cut with face framing and layers. The face framing is completely uneven as are the layers and it is extremely obvious. At the end she asked me if everything looked ok and it very obviously did not, and she shouldn’t have needed a client to tell her that it’s uneven. She spent several more minutes trying to even it out but at that point I honestly didn’t trust her to be able to fix it. She should’ve seen the issue herself. She also spent way too long washing my hair and stopped working on me several times to look over her shoulder or hold conversations with other people. Now I’m out $25 for a waste of my time and an awful haircut that I will need to have fixed elsewhere.

This salon, nestled between a Subway sandwich shop and a nail salon, is a reasonable alternative to other salons in the area. I walked in, gave my phone number (this was not my first visit) and was taken right away. My stylist was pleasant and didn’t try to upsell any hair products. I was in and out in less than an hour. I’d recommend going early and pre-registering on their website. I will certainly be visiting this salon again.

First off, normally, they do fine. This last time, however, my hair was butchered. I got a trim and long layers. There’s nothing remotely even about my hair. It looks choppy. I’ll go back but I will not let the same women trim my hair again.

Their sign says you don’t have to wear a mask if you are vaccinated which is apparently not correct. Once when I came here the girl cut my hair with a cut on her finger; she bled all over my hair and yet I’m the one that is treated like I’m going to get someone sick. This place is a joke and is beyond disgusting!!
