While I truly believe that this type of business is hit or miss as far as the skill level of barber is concerned, this one is a hit, again if you get the right barber/stylist. After having a few iffy experiences at this location, I have found my new local barber there and she is wonderful. I go to her like clockwork every two weeks and the experience is great.

This is our first time to visit this salon and it was disappointing. The haircut is bad. I showed a photo of my son’s previous haircut but the hairdresser did not follow it. She even gave my son a flat but crooked fringe (bangs) which I did not really like. Some parts have uneven haircut, I had to point them to her to do the correction. The hairdresser assigned to my son is not bad but I feel that she could have done more. I had to clean my son before leaving the salon. I would have paid for a wash for extra 10 but I think that is a huge waste of money. I feel sorry for the boy with another hairdresser who treated him without the usual sensitivity and basic etiquette when dealing with children. I feel sorry for the father who was actually very polite and kind towards the hairdresser despite the rude behavior of his son’s hairdresser. Please don’t bring your children here for a haircut! I will never come back.

I have been using Great Clips of Broadlands Market Place for a while, usually aceptable service. Today I checked in on line, as usual, and the waiting time was set to 64 minutes. After more than one hour I received a text message telling me that in 15 minutes would be my turn. I showed up at the barber shop and saw my name listed as second in the waiting line, but when it was my turn the ladies told me there was a mistake and they decided to attend 2 customers that had walked in instead of attending me. I was really upset, how can someone be first than me if I checked on line and was assigned a turn?
