The haircuts were fine but this is the second time I’ve come in, with my kids, and caught attitude from the stylists. Maybe it’s just my bad luck because of all the good reviews but I’ll be taking my business somewhere else. They never greet you properly, act like your a nuisance for being there, and the one male stylist wouldn’t even talk to me when I was trying to explain what my son wanted. Just straight up ignored me, stone faced, started cutting. I still left a good tip, but it’s the last one.

I barely needed a haircut. Hadn’t had one in a few months if not longer I know you could book online a time but I chose not to so I waited about 15 minutes. No big deal! The young woman who cut my hair was very pleasant. Shame on me. I can’t remember her name. There were only two people working that day that I saw. An average haircut and a fair price. I gave her a $5 tip because she surely was not going to make her rent on the prices that they were charging for a haircut. I forget she needs to make some money somewhere and I was just glad that she was there so I could finally begin to look like a human being again .Being from San Diego I had been paying up to $100 for a haircut it was by appointment only they would serve you a glass of wine if you wanted one, but I never drank any. It was downtown and I didn’t trust the law enforcement not to be on the look at for somebody that had a few glasses of wine and then giving them a ticket.

It had been nearly 15 mos since my last haircut at the Village Green location. I also use 2 other Great Clips franchises in this area and all 3 franchises know how to cut my hair because they get a slip with a registered customer’s preferences printed on it. The slip at any location anywhere says #3 buzz, straight back. Unless I alter it and I’ve been requesting a#2 instead of a #3 lately. What I got from the cutter(Joe) was not what I asked for in any way shape or form. Joe did what he wanted not what I asked for or even what’s printed on the slip (the cut is longer than #3 even). Coincidentally the last experience I had here, again Joe was the cutter was rather unnerving(I had to listen to Joe’s anti-vaxing, Qanon sourced conspiracy theory and misinformation propaganda in regard to the Covid virus on both of these occasions and it was nauseating), I guess because I was masked, the entire time he cut my hair then and again on Saturday, 6/18/22. The most recent haircut is the worse haircut I’ve paid for in almost 50yrs anywhere, I was and am livid about this poor quality workmanship and as a result of this I plan to not ever patronize this location again. Any body that gets a haircut here should avoid Joe in my opinion.

Critical: QualityI came to this location yesterday and didn’t realize until today how bad my haircut was. The hairdresser angled my front right side of my head down and didn’t match the other side. The layers were extremely choppy. All in all, the haircut was terrible. I went in again today to have it fixed and left with it looking exactly the same as it did before. Even the undercut that I had her do was bad. There were multiple spots that were missed. I had to go to another hair salon to get it fixed. Steer clear from this place. I came to this location yesterday and didn’t realize until today how bad my haircut was. The hairdresser angled my front right side of my head down and didn’t match the other side. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value10/8/20 Update: I did reach out to corporate Great Clips liked they asked of me. On September 17th I emailed them photos of how badly my hair was cut. The choppiness and the patchiness and bald spots with a uneven hair line. The following day they replied back that they do no own the Aston Pa. location and they will reach out to the owner. Since then Iv heard nothing back.DO NOT USE Great(bad) Clips!!!The stylist asked me what I wanted. I should have know it was gonna be a disaster when she cut off every word I had to say. Not only did she not listen to me, she chopped off so much of my hair and gave me a horrible haircut. I will NEVER be back to this place. This facility was kept very clean. They are quick to help each customer immediately and very loyal to online and repeat customers. Each stylist did a splendid job and there was even coffee offered to customers. At one point during my visit I witnessed a special needs customer handled very well. The front desk was very accommodating to all customers. The stylists were very good with my children, friendly and thorough! Thanks!
