I like great clips. At first, I wasn’t sure. But it’s awesome to be able to just walk in and get your hair cut. As well as, sign into their app and wait at home and simply wait for the text to tell you to come. And they do a good job at cutting me and my sons hair. Every once in a while I come out and I’m not impressed. But layer in that week, I realize the cut is still a good cut. And other times, I get a really great cut. And I am impressed. Like now.

I went at the beginning of October and they did such a bad job I had to go back the next day. When I went the next day, there was only one stylist there who was obviously trying to hurry, as she is alone, and still couldn’t fix what they had done the day before. It’s going to take months for my hair to grow back. One side is completely different than the other. The only way to fix it would be to cut more off and I never wanted that. I have a very simple cut with long hair. Only one layer. I can’t recommend this place to anyone. My hair looks terrible. Had to go to another salon and pay again just to try make it not look so weird.

The place itself doesn’t deserve 1 start because my experiences there so far has been okay. Although you do get that one apple that spoils the whole bunch. That’s what this post is all about, the one lady Chynna. She is the worst people person I have ever encountered. She’s rude, short, curt, and she’s doesn’t do a good job. My hair cut looked as though it was cut 2 maybe 3 weeks ago. It didn’t look fresh. I am not going to get into any more details but trust me she’s bad! I felt like I was put through the ringer. The conversation, the looks, the treatment and the work! All bad, all bad. Never again.

The haircut didn’t come out as I desired. I showed them several pictures of an old hair style I had before the pandemic with plenty of hair to work with. Its not layered properly, it was cut to short, and, they cut the sides and back when I asked them not to. For 20 bucks this a very disappointing haircut I won’t be going back here again.

I absolutely love this place for a quick haircut, or trim. I have been going here for years, and honestly every single worker is terrific and you can tell passionate about their job! It’s great that they keep notes about your last visit, so they can pick up where they left off without you remembering every detail! I also, love that you have the option of checking in from online, it’s so convenient. I highly recommend Great Clips in Dickson City and this talented, friendly team, they truly are all great there!

Instead of listening to me and not touching the length, the hair dresser cut off almost all of my hair to “make it look even”. It went from touching my shoulders to not even touching my ear. Great clips was clean and the people were friendly. Online check in makes it fast and easy to get your ears lowered. You won’t always get the same stylist but it’s a good place for a quick haircut.
