Took my son here today to get a haircut. My wife called ahead and there was a 30 minute wait. We arrived and I think it was more like 20 minutes. There were only 2 ladies working in the shop but I have to give them props because they were keeping the customers moving. They were also keeping a clean shop as well sweeping between all of their customers and then also being the ones to check them out at the register as well. The lady who cut my son’s hair did a quick good job and he was happy with it. During his hair cut I briefly spoke with her and asked as to why they were the only ones working in the shop and why there were so many empty stations. She said that it is hard to get people to work as barbers and or hairdresser/stylist right now and it is like that all over. I’m assuming another profession suffering at the hands of the Corona virus.

Went in there a few days ago for a haircut and had the an absolute horrible experience. The woman who helped me was rude and short-tempered and could not even look at me to talk and ask questions at the register. When I was at the chair she did not say a single word other than asking how I wanted my hair cut and even then left me with miscut and uneven sides and hairs sticking off the side of my head uncut. I went home immediately and fixed up the easy and simple mistakes she made. 1/10

Have gone there for at least 3/4 years and Tia who always cuts my hair is exceptional. Except Friday. She said I know how you like your hair and cut it completely different. I went back Monday to see if my hair could be changed. I’m 73 and I had these long extremely pointed sides framing my face. She became a different person, combative, was eager to argue and never did she acknoweldge that my hair was different , said that’s the same way I always get it cut, but that she had only cut it a couple times, after 3 years. Manager was involved and no real customer service, it’s ok when paying for a cut, but don’t complain. The manager said ” I don’t know what you expect me to do about it.” Great customer service would have said they were sorry, tried to fix it, said the next cut’s on us, here’s a bottle of shampoo. Just did anything, something. I had to go across the street and pay Hair Cuttery $24.00 to cut off the severe points. We all get bad cuts sometimes, it was the combativeness, arguing that scared me. The lack of any concern or interest by the manager. Today you don’t know what someone will do when they are angry. People become violent in the blink of an eye. I don’t expect to be frightened when in the beauty shop. These are my own personal opinions and in my opinion, I won’t go again and I would personally recommend taking someone else with you, just in case. I was almost to the door when someone behind me said, I’m sorry. Who??? The headquarters did give me 2 free cuts in another location or offer my $15.00 back, but wasn’t sure about the $4.00 tip. Personally, I will just skip all Great clips, there’s a reason they are cheaper than others. I am upset and if you have this review removed, I will only post again. Under neath the owner states feel free to contact customer service and mention what location ??? Did you read the review ? I had stated customer service offered free cut, that would mean that I contacted customer service main number. The review was posted under the Chambersburg, Pa. location and even stylist name mentioned.???
