My 3 1/2 year old son has sensory issues and a speech delay and has always struggled with haircuts… I dread it. Its hard on my son, myself and the hair dresser. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI was sold a color remover from a beauty store (won’t name) where I was told it wouldn’t ruin or damage my hair etc, I had spent that night dealing with my hair coming out in clumps pic as reference (my hair got wrecked) so I started my search for salons. As soon as I called a lot of my apprehension and anxiety to trust another place to touch my hair was put at ease. All of the stylists greeted me as I walked in and we’re absolutely amazing and sympathetic to the disaster I had going on. My stylist was Ana and unlike several places before her, she let me explain my hair history and we looked through example pictures for reference. She took her time and before she even picked up anything besides a comb, she made sure we were both on the same page and had our game plan. She made sure for every single step of my cut to explain what would be done, different ways to style it and more. I was sold a color remover from a beauty store (won’t name) where I was told it wouldn’t ruin or damage my hair etc, I had spent that night dealing with my hair coming out in clumps pic as reference (my hair got wrecked) so I started my search for salons.
