Growing up I always went to Great Clips and never had any issues, but after receiving the worst haircuts of my life my last two visits I am going to be looking for a real hairdresser. I don’t ask for anything fancy. Simple trim to get rid of dead ends with a little layering. When it got extra long I would occasionally donate it, which also used to mean a free haircut. Last time I donated it I got charged full price, had to take care of delivering the hair donation myself, and had to go back to Great Clips a few days later to have them fix the haircut since one side was almost 3 inches longer than the other. Then today I went for my simple trim with layers and am now currently looking for a professional hairdresser to fix the mess that was made…

Hated it. I asked for a small trim and for her to shave one side of my hair. She gave me a mullet and cut the rest of my hair ridiculously short. Had to go to supercuts to get it fixed. Never going again.

Decent prices, ability to check in online so you don’t have to wait in line, and qualified, friendly staff. Facility is usually well maintained and staff is always kind. I never go anywhere else lol! Insiders trick: buy their $9.99 haircuts card around Thanksgiving and charge it up with a many haircuts as you like on it for even more savings throughout the year!

Specialty service. Wasn’t looking to get a haircut for my daughter this time in. She had shaved the back of her head for a couple reasons. Her hair was sensitive and thick so we thought shaving the underneath portion and putting a neat design would be something fun for summer and soccer. The woman took up the challenge to make a new design in the back of her head and did a wonderful job. I knew it was a tougher thing to do. Not many are skilled to do a job on the spot like that. Definitely going back.

Went for the first time today. They have a real-time waiting list right when you walk in. So I went online to check in since no one was at the front and sat down. Waited for about an hour. No big deal as long as I got a haircut. Not once was I greeted during this time and I had a seat right in view of the 5 people that worked there. One of the employees looks like she is supposed to intake customers, and I know she saw me multiple times. I waited patiently until I was first on the list. I was bypassed twice by two different people. Apparently you have to check in physically even if you do it online. I didn’t know that as it was my first time. Mind you, no one asked if I was there those two times or for the hour I was waiting. They just assumed I wasn’t. I left and probably won’t be back again. Need people with basic customer service.
