So my son has some special needs, and it’s crazy ticklish. He’s also always polite and friendly. So not a problem. He hates having his hair cut and we put it off. It was Easter, so he needed a hair cut. I figured it was damn near impossible to mess up. Frankly he’s six and we weren’t looking for the height of fashion, I just wanted to see his eyes. The entire space in there is off. The front desk attendant looked either bored to tears, or highly medicated. We get put in a stylist’s chair, she is brusk, looks totally annoyed with having to cut hair. Totally ignores what I ask. Then forcibly moves my child’s head around. I attempt to intervene, and use verbal requests… But she puts hand on his head to make him change positions like four. I don’t pull her limb from limb and stay calm, because I would freak my kid out. She also, does legitimately an atrocious job. It’s uneven, it’s jagged. She didn’t even try. We leave and go to an actual salon and get it fixed by a professional ( super young, an a gifted person when it comes to kids.) Don’t ever go here, there is a crazy lady with sharp objects that shouldn’t ever be let around people, let alone kids.

She also took a lot of time to talk to me and educate me and share styling techniques. I am so disappointed and frustrated by the service received. My one son’s hair is beyond crooked, I could have done a better job and now am left to fix it. I told the other woman doing my other sons hair it needs to be able be put back in a man bun for sports and no bang and now it was cut so short it can’t. The absolute worst $53 ever spent. I’ll never go here again. Both woman seemed annoyed to even do their hair. Definitely need more training and better customer service.

We agreed on an inch and a half because I was anxious about him losing his curls. Faith cut much, much more than an inch and a half. She just kept on cutting. We came in for a haircut for our three year old son. Faith did the haircut and we discussed how much to trim. We agreed on an inch and a half because I was anxious about him losing his curls. And she completely butchered his hair and and he was so upset !!granted it is hair and it will grow back but he paid for a service and did not even remotely get what he asked for!! This place is alright, I’ve been here like 3 times and sometimes they are good but they are very inconsistent. When I last went I showed them a picture of how I wanted my hair and the lady cutting my hair didn’t even ask for it again, she got half of my hair right but the other half of my part is long in the front and short the rest of the way so it is uncomfortable and it also looks bad. They also cut my cowlick way too short, so it looks like I have a bald spot now, like I said previously it’s either going to come out good or bad, this barber shop seems like a place where a lot of new people work or people who aren’t the best. Come here at your own risk.
