This is my first review ever. Brutal! The first time I went here it was a great experience the stylist that cut my hair took her time and did an awesome job. Partially my own fault for not requesting the person who did a great job. So, unfortunately for me when I returned I was saddled with a stylist who made me feel like my haircut was too much. The stylist complained just about the whole time, my hair looks sub par at best and the customer experience was lacking. Will never go back!

My daughter walked out of there in tears. Chris, the woman that cut her hair, did not even come close to the cut my daughter showed her a picture of. She wanted it on the shoulder and it was cut up to her chin and uneven. Seems she was more concerned with making my daughter feel bad about her hair complaining how the ends were over processed as she roughly brushed through her hair poking her in the eye several times, which she didn’t even apologize for. Definitely will not be going back.

I’ve been coming here for several years, usually satisfied, though sometimes hit-or-miss depending on who you get. Today was the worst ever–AVOID JAMES!!!!!!!!!!! He refused to listen to how I wanted my hair cut, said he knew better than me how I should look. I asked him to describe what he had in mind, but he said he couldn’t describe it, but I should just trust him “because I’m really good at what I do.” I asked him to leave my hair long on the top and back, and cut it short at the sides and back of the neck. He did the opposite, because he knew better. After I while I just told him put down your scissors, we’re done, and I asked a different hairdresser at the shop to finish trimming off what James refused to do. Of course, she couldn’t put back the hair he had already cut off where I told him not to. After I got back into my car I noticed a foul smell, which turned out to be some sort of goo he had offered to put on my hair–AND WHICH I DECLINED–but he did it anyway. It feels like glue and smells like cheap perfume.

DENIED SHAMPOO SERVICE AS A CANCER PATIENT.*** I have never in my life experienced such a lack of empathy and compassion. I have breast cancer, had surgery last week and yesterday went for a simple shampoo service. The lady firmly told me that another service would be needed to be purchased in order to get my hair shampooed. What????? I had just left the hospital to walk into “this situation?” Seriously? I left with my tubes and drains down my sides feeling worse than cancer itself because of “this woman who appeared to be the woman running it that very quiet morning with not another customer in sight. This was a very degrading experience to give someone going through cancer. If I am a paying customer, I expect to get service. Please thought let me take a moment and ask this. Where is the compassion and humanity for breast cancer patients from “Great Clips?”
