I came with both pictures and a video ready, even with the examples I 100% believe the stylist would rather do what she wanted then what I asked for. Eyerolling when showing her the more masculine haircut I wanted and just refreshing my previous haircut in the end. As someone who has been to cosmetology school the consultation was less then stellar. I said multiple times I wanted to hide a receding part of my hair, yet the way it was cut made it more noticeable. Just disappointed with the entire experience.

Got my child’s hair cut here. Not only did they not sweep the hair off the floor from the last client but the hair was full all over the counter I couldn’t put my phone down on it. The hairdresser actually grabbed a comb from sitting on the counter in the hair piles and started using it on my child’s head, getting black hair in his hair and on his neck from someone else! I mentioned this to her and she merely just said it’s hard to get the hair off everything when it comes out Of the blue cleaner. I said yea but it came off the counter which is full of someone else’s hair which is gross. She then pulled a comb from the drawer instead to use on him. I don’t know if I can or should go back to a place like this. They don’t even try to clean between people. That’s not sanitary

This was a different location from my normal location and I was a bit disappointed. I paid for a wash and cut but my wash was more like a four stroke quick head massage. She didn’t even rinse out. The cut wasn’t the way I asked. I would have said something while I was there but because my hair was still wet I could not tell until it got dry. I guess the next time I will wait to go to my normal location. Everybody was friendly the waiting area was clean and the store was clean because I walked in as soon as it opened and I was also greeted right away. Now I’m going to have to get my hair cut again because it isn’t the way I want it. ♀️

Kate is just an all around great people person, let alone a wonderful hairstylist. She fits in her role so easily. She is very welcoming and friendly. Every time I go, whether I get Kate or not, she’ll go out of her way to make sure she says hello. She immediately greets everyone with open arms. It’s always a very easy and fun conversation, every time. She actually makes me smile because she’s always smiling herself. It’s people like her who make Great Clips a place you want to go back to, no matter the wait. Fast, friendly and easy on the wallet. Did I mention it’s always a fun conversation with her. I definitely recommend seeing Kate and the entire staff at Great Clips in Somerdale!

I love getting my hair done at Great Clips. The salon always looks fantastic and I have noticed the stylists wiping down the chairs and changing gowns between every customer. The Staff is excellent, and friendly. I go here every other month. I recommend Great Clips to anyone who wants a great cut at an affordable price
