I followed Abby when she set out on her own salon, Grand Noir. It is quite a drive from me now, but worth it every time. Abby is not only knowledgeable about her craft, but she has ample experience to care for all hair types. She’s always done her best cut/color my hair as I desire it, while also setting clear expectations based on hair type, past experience, and science.

I had an amazing and informative experience with Abby. I have short, fine hair and have struggled with styling and products that are appropriate for my hair my entire adult life. It was a great help to sit down and discuss my hair care routine and have Abby suggest corrections I could make. I came with photos of the style I was looking at adopting, and Abby really simplified the style making it accessible to me. I came out of the appointment feeling much more confident about styling my hair. Charging for time, instead of gender or length of hair is a really innovative way to make visiting a hair stylist accessible and individualized to everyone. Well worth the investment. I highly recommend you give Grand Noir Salon a try a chance.

I have been going to Anna for over 10 years and I have always had a positive experience. When she started Grand Noir Salon following her for my hair needs was a no brainer. I have fine, thin hair that I always wish was easier to do more with. Anna listens to what I want and suggests the right approach for my hair style AND life style (she knows I need something low maintenance). Now that she has a gratuity free service it’s so easy to just go and get what I need at any given time without much thinking. My husband has also seen Anna for years and more recently has been going to Abby and always has a great experience as well. I would recommended Grand Noir Salon anyone.
