Pedicure service is excellent. Nail service is I asked for stiletto nail shape. And received some bs. When I expressed that I was not happy with my service and that she needs to file more she barely filed. Mind you I’ve been at the establishment for over 3 hrs. She proceeds to apologize and said my nails aren’t long enough for stiletto shape I said well why didn’t you say that in the beginning I would have just gotten tips. I received a rushed paint job and no oil for cuticles nor did she clean around my nails. Preview photos for poor service.

I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I came for a pedicure by Jon and a hand fix by Park (after reading the reviews). She was nice and she takes feedback to makes use that you like your set. I left pleased and will return. Both did a good job though it felt like Jon was rushing a bit and I didn’t get the massage chair experience.

I have typically had a very good experience at this nail salon. I have been visiting there for approximately 4 years, except during the pandemic. Yesterday, my polish on my fingers was different than the polish on my toes. I noticed this while standing outside at the Harris Teeter next door. I walked back to the salon to inform them that the colors were different and the polish on my hands were correct. One of the techs tried to convince me that the colors were the same. I informed her they were not. She said they would polish two more coats (of the right color) over the polish on my toes. She then says, “its because you are darker.” I immediately declined and left the salon. Please see the picture of the orange polish on my toes and the pink polish on my hands.

Critical: QualityI was very happy to come get my nails and after not when a week my nails started to fall off. Just so you know I was charged $130. I will not give up at this place. This is the 3rd place I’ve been to with good reviews. I have decided to go to 2 star places for now on. I was really excited when I got here. Everything looked pretty, guy at the register spoke perfect English then I got my pedicure done. Tho I will say they worked on my feet more than places I spent $80 on a package for, it was not a good experience. I struggled to communicate with the guy doing my nails. I was planning on getting a manicure done too for my wedding Saturday, but after my toes, I decided against it. He pulled off to much skin around my toe and it started to bleed. He just sprayed alcohol on it like it was nothing so it BURNED!! Now my big toe is red all around it and it hurts to even walk! My toes do not look picture worthy for my wedding. So disappointed! (And a little heartbroken my toes have to look this way for my special day and I will be in pain walking down the aisle) If you are trying new salons, I recommend you do NOT go here.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis was probably the worst experience I had. I’ve been a few times before and I can’t wrap my mind around the quality of work this time around. The person who did my nails today seemed like she legit slapped this together. I was so disappointed in the work that I just opted to leave rather than sit there any longer and be subjected to additional poor quality work. I think this is the last time I’ll be going here.The paint hearts (which took 2 techs and 3 tries to still come out bad), the uneven and thickness of the nail, the inconsistency of the paint, and the overall service just wasn’t good. I’m just really disappointed.Update:My gel polish started to lift and a nail broke within the first day of having this full set. I ended up going to another shop to get everything fixed. The nail tech at the shop expressed the execution of the nail was so bad that I would need to get a new set.When I called Grand Nails to express my issue and stated I wanted a refund, I was told I cannot get a refund. The person who answered the phone said they could fix minor issues for free or charge $5-10 depending on the issue. I reiterated that I had to go to another shop to get things fixed and that I wouldn’t be comfortable going back to a shop that did such a horrible job to begin with. He simply repeated that I cannot get a refund. I could only get a simple fix for free or be charged for any additional services. I will never come back to this shop again off the customer service alone. The person who did my nails today seemed like she legit slapped this together.
