Sonia burnt/fried the back of my hair and didn’t even tell me while I was sitting in her chair. I found it when I got home. I called her the next morning, afternoon and evening but never got a call back. I ended up calling and getting her on the phone but she acted like she didn’t remember me. She didn’t exactly apologize, offered no refund but offered to cut the rest of my hair to match it and do a deep conditioning treatment. She was fully aware that most of my hair had recently grown back in and she was extremely insensitive and unprofessional in how she handled this situation.

Walking in to an Aveda salon should always be a positive sensory experience. Unfortunately when I walked in to see no masks on clients nor staff, and hints of cigarette smoke in the air, I cancelled my appointment and left. I was sorry not to have found a new salon. The work that the owner has done in the building is beautiful and the salon has a great look. But it was not what I would expect of an Aveda experience – at least not on first impression.
