Miguel gave me a real fresh cut. I’m a white guy with really fine hair, and he had no problem giving me a great style. My hairline goes way down the back of my neck too, and he put the nice fade to that and the sides. Beard and sideburn work is equally as nice, and his fee covers hair and beard. Will go back again next time. – Matthew

Took my daughter to get a wash, trim and blow out. My hair is down my back and I don’t pay more than $60. I asked her how much before she started she said $60 I asked $60 for everything? She said yes. She took my daughter over to wash her hair. She put the deep condition cap on and my daughter still had edge control on her side burns she didn’t notice and when I pointed it out she didn’t wash it over she just rinsed it. When everything was done I went to pay and the price magically went up $70…I planned on tipping $20 because that’s what I normally do but to lie and say she said $70 was ridiculous. She would have gotten more if she wasn’t a liar.

I’ve come often over the past 2 years and I always come in with the same hairstyle, it usually takes them about 2 hours max to do so. Recently I’ve noticed that they have become quite careless with their shop. They do not open on time and I have started to be inside the shop for almost 6 hours and my hair has acquired damage as well; however, their service is still great. I am in no way trying to tear down this business but simply stating the facts and how you may want to plan your day if you’re getting your hair done in this salon.

Critical: Quality, ValueThe prices are insane here, and I’m from NJ/NY so I know overpriced when I see it. I should have known though. I brought my boyfriends son here and paid $20 for a little boys hair cut. They didn’t even comb the hair out to make sure it was even just cut it round as it stood. But I was desperate, so a year later (last week), I went in for curls. Not cut/color, they didn’t wash or blow dry. JUST CURLED WITH A CURLING IRON. I’m half white, get my thin “easy to work with” hair from my dad. And my hair is naturally wavy (takes curls instantly) thanks to my Latina mother. It took maybe 20 mins, cost $60 before tip!! I came out looking like a “that 70s show character.” No photos, because my curls fell right out and didn’t make it to the event. I guess that’s a good thing. So disappointed overall.Service: Curly hairThe prices are insane here, and I’m from NJ/NY so I know overpriced when I see it. I should have known though. Sandy was very nice and did a great job on my hair. The color came out really beautiful and the blowout was pleasant as well. A lot of all the places I go to burn me and are rude but she was really friendly and patient. I was there longer than I should have been but overall a very great place will be back.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went for a blow out not even a week and 1/2 ago. My hair did not last whatsoever. I didn’t add any extra products or anything. I will let you know I am all natural with 3c/4a curls. Then I washed it just the night before with a restoration deep conditioner and started smelling something funky. Then it got stronger to the point where it smelled of chemicals. Similar to the smell of a relaxer or texturizer. My boyfriend thought it was conditioner but he smelled it from the bottle and for sure it wasn’t it. I have washed my hair a total 5 times. It has barely lifted. It’s sickening literally. I planned to go today but they are closed. My curls are not even popping back how they usually do. I have wavy strands towards the front and also straight strands. I need this to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. I have never had an experience such as this especially in a Dominican Salon. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Argued with me that do not use chemical. I believe they used some kind of keratin treatment on my hair or at least put it in the conditioner.Service: HairstylingI went for a blow out not even a week and 1/2 ago. Went and got a blow out in December 2018 and it came out great! But I noticed a chemical smell being used in my hair when it was being washed and was pretty sure it was a relaxer. I was fully natural with a head full of 4c hair. Now it’s May 2019 and my hair is still not reverting back to its kinky curly state. It’s still straight and most of my hair has fell out due to coming to this hair salon. They are putting harsh chemicals in the things they use to wash people’s hair, so don’t waste your money on them. They’re trash and I wish I would have went back and told them what they did to my hair! I didn’t because I attend college a little far away and they probably wouldn’t have done anything about it anyway. If I could add before and after pictures on here I would so everyone could see it. Worst experience ever, thanks for messing up my hair!
