Grace is very kind and gentle. Her entire staff is very welcoming and she stays busy! They greet their customers by first name and always say bye. Their selection of nail polish is plentiful. The place is well maintained and very clean and organized. They have TVs to watch movies and all. The staff really makes this place what it is. And they are all talented. Doesn’t matter who you book with, they are all great. I hear them asking their customers if the cut, color or design is of their liking each step of the way. You will be satisfied with your end product.

I love how personable they are and very professional. I have seen a few staff here and have not been dissatisfied with my care. I have recently started seeing Lily and can not be more happy with the consistency and treatment that I receive. She never lets me down no matter how crazy my thoughts are. They are also very clean and sanitized properly. I highly recommend them.

Grace Nails has been my go-to nail salon for the last three years since moving to Wethersfield. Easily the best nail salon around! Went for powder manicure and gel pedicure. I had picked a pink shade for each that was a reasonable match. Grace asked me to show her the powder sample stick I had picked and she apparently misread the alpha code on the stick and my nails were done in more of a red color than pink. I knew it looked different when it was being applied but figured since it was powder maybe the shade changes during the various steps in the process. I was uncomfortable saying something and paid and left but realized that the color on my toes was so so different than my hands that I needed to understand what happened. I went back in (after having just paid $90 plus tips) and Grace was extremely rude and insisting I had selected this red color. It turns out that there are other colors on the powder rings with the same numeric codes with different alpha codes and Grace had made an error and gave me the wrong color. I find it hard to believe that as the owner of the salon that she didn’t immediately realize what had happened rather than insisting that I had picked this color…it wasn’t until I dug back through the color rings that I found a pink shade with code 84 and showed it to her and said this is the 84 that I picked and had shown to you……she then told me they had no time to fix for me and that she could only do 6:45 pm after I had just said I had plans at 7 pm and was leaving for a trip in the morning. I then said I wanted a refund…she tried to give me a gift cert refund just bc I had paid partially with a gift certificate but I had paid $57 in cash so certainly the $40 manicure should have been refunded in cash…I got the cash refund only after saying I wanted cash because I didn’t want to return. She never took ownership for the error and was just rude and blunt trying to make me think I had messed up. Before leaving I confronted Grace on the fact that she never apologized or owned the error, she then tried to again claim that I had given her that color which I hadn’t……I had stood in front of her with the pink color sample ring and showed her the code and SHE misread it. Eventually she said I’m sorry …and that was it….after I had to pull it out of her. It didn’t mean much but it was the point that it was her fault. I now have pink feet and red hands and a trip in the morning but she didn’t care. Very rude and sneaky behavior coming from the owner of the salon. Not a relaxing experience –

This place appears to profile potential new customers! I walked in for a pedicure at 5:30 pm and was declined service because they claimed they did not have time even though they close at 7:00 pm and had very few people in the shop. Additionally they advertise walk in services. No one attempted to offer another time for me to return so it appeared as if they did not want my business. I took heed of this and went to Magic Nails, a few blocks up to get a pedicure without issue. Magic nails is very clean, have a welcoming atmosphere, AND appreciated my business. I will only patronize businesses that value me as a customer without profiling!

i made a appt with grace nails at 530,(im on crutches, i have drains coming out of my ribs, it took alot for me to even get there) they turned me away and said it would take to long to do my nails,(even when i had a appt) so i said cut them short and do gel polish and she said no its to much work ib literally broke down in tears, and walked out nobody said a thing, she just took the next person waiting. i am in so much pain i can’t even describe it. just getting there and going in and out. worst Custer service ever
