Go there a least once a month, in an out within 2 hours (depends on the hair style that you choose). Been going there for over 8 years. My hair has grown a lot since started going there. Ms. Grace is kind to her customers and always says God Bless you when you arrive and leaves.

I have been going to this shop for a long time. My hair I take good care of once it is done but for the past four times I had to go back to have maybe one or two done over. This time Grace was not in the shop another one of her stylist did my hair, mind you my hair only be in for one week. The thread did not stay the side braid look so bad the braid itself looks as if was not done. This is the straw that broke the camels back. The Health Inspector need to make a visit along with the Fire Marshal and learn English they are talking amongst each other and you don’t know if they are talking about you. If you own a company you should have the respect to at least have great stylist and great customer relations you want them to come back that’s how you make money. Not being down right disrespectful hair done in an awful way and want them to come back. I learned a lesson I will be coming back I had it.

Noooooooo Stars!!!!!Extremely poor braiding and very rude. Never will go back again. The braiding techs there are very poor in quality had my hair done there less than 2 week I had gotten a lot of compliments on it but quite a few people noticed hidden mistakes made. Called Ms Grace to see what can be done she says nothing. So in other words my money went down the drain. I actually sent them business but no more. Not even deserving of 1 star I should have left when Grace was arguing with another customer because they did what they wanted to do when it came to styling 2 of the women children and and when the child asked could she remove it she as in Grace ignored the child for almost 35 min and the went on to do someone else hair and wanted to charge almost $450.00 and that was highly unreasonable for children hair do. After all said and done she whisper to and says that I should’ve paid more but next time they will charge more

My hair is short and I went to Grace to have it put in singleese twist. Over half of the twist fell out. I went back to them and explained what happened. Grace blamed it on my hair and said that I should have gotten braids. I explained to her that Expressions hair was too soft to use on my short soft hair and that she should have used Kanklan.

I went there for Senegalese they used a different type of hair and i was out of there in 5 hours but a week after i got my hair done looked like i had it in for months than 4 braids slid out. I called Grace she said she braid the ones that fell out but couldn’t do anything else. She even asked me if i went swimming which i didnt, so she knew it looked bad. I made sure i oiled and wrapped my hair up. For $180.00 i would not recommend anyone to get braids (Senegalese) there. I wish i would have went back to Margerette Hair Braiding on Georgia Avenue. I definitely felt it was a major waste of money.

I have been a longtime customer for approximately 13 years and within the last two years I have been very disappointed. Everyone I sent has complained and as due because once I finally see the product I am discussed. The shop is going to ruins and the ladies that are in there now only care about a coin and not the product. I love me some Grace but she really needs to get it together. I have always been able to go there but now I am going to Fatou’s because I have been seeing some really good work come from them and I will be the next contender.

No star….. Too keep it REAL!! I got my hair done TODAY & I just took it out. I gave them a picture to do & the stylist was doing it completely wrong. So I gave her another picture to do & the girl beside me told me it looks good. After sitting under the dryer, she gives me a mirror & DAMNNNNNN, It was a HOT ASS MESS!!!! LORD FORGIVE THESE NON-GIFTED STYLIST. DON’T GO PLEASE. I wasted $160. They refused to give me a refund nor half the money I paid. ALSO, their sign states that you can come in within 3 days to get your braids fix. But I was TOLD BY THE MANAGER “THAT’S NOT TRUE.” Overall, DON’T GO!!!!
