First of all the place is clean, and follows all guidelines for covid. Tom really knows what he’s doing, and i got one of the best haircuts i ever had. Then came the beard, it was way out of hand. I told Tom to do watever he thinks, and it came out great. He really took the time to get all the details straight. My wife was complaining that my quarantine hair, and beard were getting out of hand. She happened to come across this barber shop. First of all the place is clean, and follows all guidelines for covid. Tom really knows what he’s doing, and i got one of the best haircuts i ever had. Then came the beard, it was way out of hand. First time going there and considering that most of my past cuts weren’t to my liking, I was a bit hesitant. I called and provided Tom a picture of what I wanted. He was very responsive and booked me right away. I was a bit needy but Tom followed my every whim until I got what I wanted. Came out satisfied with my cut and will definitely be going back. Very professional and family-friendly.

No question, Tom has given me the best cut of my life. He is skillful craftsman that clearly takes immense pride in the quality of his work and offers an incredibly competitive price with easy scheduling. You can’t ask for much more than that. Barbers should be lining up at the door to work for him because he’s such a stand up guy who cares for his clients and employees.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and Tom is a great barber but is unreliable and cancels appointments. Lately he’s cancelled on me at least 3 times in the past 2 months. It’s extremely frustrating when you need a haircut for a wedding or event and then have to hunt for a barber on a days notice (or less). My last appointment I was scheduled and drove there to find out he wasn’t in. What a waste of time and he won’t return calls or texts; very unprofessional. Time for a new barber, best of luck Tom.

I haven’t had my hair cut professionally for over 8 years to do my own shape ups to save money. Due to recent special events, I found this gem nearby home to test out and I have to agree with all the other positive reviews. Tom will cut it exactly how you describe it. If you have a tough time painting a picture with words, i’m sure he can do a fantastic job with a picture reference as well. I will be scheduling another appointment with Tom for my wedding day cut without a doubt.

Same experience as Josh below. Didn’t make it quite a year. Good barbers who know how to cut hair. But, I made an appointment a week in advance, went in to find out Tom wasn’t there and I wasn’t on the schedule. Not sure how that happens.

One of the best bang for the buck experience in Philly. I was looking for a stylish haircut including a nice fade and GQ met my expectations. Tom Lee was the barber of my choice. I’ll definitely return and recommend the saloon for my mates. $40 experience for only half of the price.
