HORRIFYING. I’ve come to this nail salon many, many times. But I will NEVER go back. Last night I called to make an appointment, I asked for 12:30 but was told 1 would be better. Granted, I called late, but I was expecting it to go to voicemail and to be able to make an appointment over the machine. When I arrived at 1 I was told by the woman that took my appointment, “I was so drunk last night! I didn’t know if you said 1 or 1:30!“ I was understanding and even apologized for calling late. I sat and waited for 30 minutes while The techs around me took other customers. Then at 2pm the first woman finally took me. When I showed her the design I wanted, she asked if I’d be doing gel or regular, I asked for regular and she told me it would be impossible. She said gel was an extra $10 and insisted I could only get them done how I wanted if I got gel. So I finally resolved to just get a solid color. Finally she started doing my nails and said if I wanted them long (still cut basically in half from full tip length. I even brought my own polish.) I had to pay an extra $10. At this point I told her this was the worst experience I ever had here and I was considering writing a bad review. Instead of offering ANY consolation for my awful experience SHE KICKED ME OUT with tips glued on and continued to scream about how it was my fault because I missed her one call this morning to confirm the time.

Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been to this place twice. The first time I visit this place, I had zero complaints. The service was really good. Now my second visit was different. I came in for a refill and had shown the nail tech the design I was hoping to get. She told me that she didn’t have time to do a design because I didn’t specify that over the phone when I booked my appointment. I was mind blown, and didn’t understand. I’ve never had to mention a nail design while booking an appointment. Ok, so after I get seated with a second nail tech she kindly asks me, what nail salon did you go to before? I replied somewhere in town. She followed by suggesting that I return to that nail place in the case they couldn’t do my nail design….. WHAT?! Honestly, they just lost a new customer. The only place I go to get my nails done! I have been going there every two weeks for the past year and a half and I refuse to go anywhere else. Moon is always prompt with her appointments and is always about pleasing her customers. All the girls in the place are super nice and I love going in and chatting with other customers and them. They all do amazing work and my nails always last! They prefer appointments but it’s so worth it cause they’re always on time and it’s easiest cause they’re all always so busy. I recommend this place to everyone!

I NEVER and I mean NEVER leave reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I had to. So the day before New Year’s Eve, I wanted gold chrome acrylics. Pressed for time, I searched for the closest nail salon to me and this one popped up. The reviews were great, so I decided to set up an appointment. I go in and tell the nail technician what I want. I even showed her a picture. She assured me that she had done chrome nails “many” times before. Mind you, before deciding on getting chrome nails, I had watched a bunch of YouTube videos of technicians achieving the chrome effect. As the nail technician was applying the chrome powder to my nails, I noticed that she wasn’t doing it how I saw every other nail technician do it on YouTube. I asked her why she was doing it differently and she explained that the typical way of applying the chrome powder was very messy and that she didn’t want to get the powder everywhere. She assured me again that the results would still be the same. Long story short….they weren’t! After applying the chrome powder to my gold nails, they began to turn green and there was NO and I repeat NO CHROME EFFECT whatsoever. Even the nail technician next to her looked over at my hands and made a face because she knew they weren’t chrome. When I began to complain, the nail technician assured me a third time that the chrome effect took time to appear on the acrylics. Lies. Lies. Lies. However, since she used a different method to apply the chrome powder, I assumed she was right. So I paid her, went home for like an hour, and my nails still had a matte goldish-greenish color (they were ugly). So I decided to call the salon back and complain. The nail technician that did my nails told me to come back so she could fix them. I go back to the salon and she takes all the nail polish off and starts over. I’m thinking that she’s going to get it right this time…WRONG. The second time around, my nails were just a regular gold color. There was still no chrome effect. To make matters worse, she charges me extra for fixing HER mistakes and I ended up paying a total of $48. The most I have EVER paid for a nail salon visit in my life. I understand that this place probably has regular/loyal customers who the technicians treat really well, but that good treatment should be extended to new customers too. I was and still am soooo disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. I’m glad that other people had and still have great experiences there, but unfortunately, I am not one of them.

For me convenience and reliability is important as is the actual service. I visited this place twice and cannot complain about the quality of the service. However, I have had two bad experiences with my appointments. The first, the owner took down the wrong time for my appointment and argued with me in front of customers. On what would have been my third visit, they set the time and then called me three times to try to change and finally called at the last minute to cancel me out. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere.
