I booked an 8am appointment online because the website and scheduling app stated the shop opened at 8am. After waiting 15 minutes, I called. They were not apologetic and told me there was no appointment. I have the email confirmation and the website says 8am open, although I was told verbally 9am. Very unprofessional and I chose to go to another establishment.

The lady who did my hair was extremely sweet and kind. I very much felt welcome there and appreciated that she still took the time to see me after I was late and with it being an evening appointment. I never once felt like she rushed me and the Senegalese twists came out beautifully and at an amazing price. The only complaint about the twists themselves is the cleanup job afterward. She didn’t do the best job with getting rid of all of the fly aways and I had to finish that when I got home, but that was only a minor inconvenience to how beautiful they are. As an overall complaint, and this could just be me because I am not used to it, but she had a young child who was extremely hyper/misbehaved and was literally bouncing off of the walls, throwing things, making lots of noise, and trying to hang all over me that she had to repeatedly stop to attend to. It made me very uncomfortable as I don’t have kids so it’s not something I’m used to. However, if you don’t mind kids, I would 100% recommend her and I will definitely be returning.
