Welcome to the Northshore’s Largest Family Owned Salon group. Since 2017 our Aveda Lifestyle salon has been providing outstanding hair cuts and styling, hair color, conditioning treatments, blowouts, and event hair for the Lakeshore East community. In addition to our hair services, we also offer a variety of skincare services including waxes, makeup application, and makeup lessons. Our Stylists are all licensed cosmetologists, thoroughly trained in our award winning continuing education programs. Gordon Salon’s prides itself on a culture of respect, tolerance and a focus on environmental efforts.

Stacy did an amazing job! I love the cut and the highlights. We are working on transitioning my hair closer to my natural color and she definitely took care to make sure my hair is hydrated and healthy throughout the process. I can’t recommend the salon enough – quiet, relaxing and easy to get too. Plus with Sunday hours, it’s just the easiest way to spend a couple of hours!

Recently moved to Chicago and was in need of a haircut! Found this salon and decided to give it a go! It ended up being one of the best decisions I could have made 🙂 my stylist, Kyle, not only gave me a 10/10 haircut, but he also introduced me to new ways to style my hair, gave me tips the whole way through, and was so much fun to talk to the entire time! He also gave me reasonable suggestions on products that would help reach my hair goals. Not to mention everyone else at the salon was super welcoming! Highly recommend – great experience and for an affordable cost!

After two disappointing stylists at Salon Buzz, a friend recommended Gordon Salon LSE. I was skeptical at first but lost all of my reservations after my first session with Stacy. She is experienced, talented, caring and more important of all she is honest. My first session was just a haircut and I didn’t want to loose much length. Unlike other stylist, she listened! Hallelujah!!! I loved my haircut and her personality so much that I came back for color and highlights and I’m so glad I did as her coloring is amazing!! I’m Middle Eastern with dark brown hair and trust me it is not easy to get the right color highlight in my hair. I loved my highlights! The best one that I have ever had!!

I loved my experience at Gordon Salon with Dawn and her assistant! All of the employees are extremely friendly and welcoming, and they really contribute to a great environment. I really enjoyed chatting with Dawn during my haircut and she listened to my opinions and questions about my hair. I like my haircut a lot, Dawn worked quickly but carefully. I’ve been three times to this salon and my hair looks better than it has in years! Going there is a fabulous experience. The salon is hidden in a little park and it feels so merry and special even before you enter. Then it is truly a luxury experience from the moment you walk in. I have problem areas with my hair where it just doesn’t look right. I didn’t even have to mention this. I feel like she sculpted my hair exactly around my head and problem areas. I love this place! Worth every penny!

I have been going to Kyle for the past year and he is the first stylist to truly know how to work with my extremely curly hair!!! As a bonus, he has done a fantastic job with my color, helping me to adapt to a herringbone grey look as I have had more grey appear. The staff here is so friendly and helpful especially when trying to make or change appointments. Shout out to Theo for being so great!!!

Caroline is amazing!!! I was searching for a new salon and found Gordon’s Aveda in Lakeshore East. It’s a beautiful salon, calm quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend! Caroline took my pandemic hair from brown with gray to a gorgeous warm red-brown with golden highlights – I love it!!! She cut it so now it looks so much fuller and has movement. I highly recommend Caroline and this hidden jewel salon 5 stars
