Everyone at this shop is exceptional at braiding and doing hair in general. Everyone including the owner are very kind. I ALWAYS enjoy getting my hair done by them! The stylist did a wonderful job on my lime green and blue highlights and knotless box braids ! I will definitely be back again- thus is my favorite braiding salon !

I arrived at 8am to get my hair done, nobody was here just yet, np I called the number of the shop the owner said 5 mins. Np again. I showed the beautician who came into shop(unfortunately she’s mute)a picture of what I wanted done to my hair. She pointed and made gestures like she knew what I wanted and understood me. It was 2 other ladies waiting too who also needed their hair done. They also showed their pictures, guess we thought the beautician was the Boss.

I was told my hair style triangle part big box braids were 180 but she said for you 160. When I was done she told the Haitian lady the style was $150. They talked about me in french the whole time lol but I needed my hair done. Bad experience and then I was charged additional$2for using my debit card. They will convince you to get the style they want to do to charge you more I guess

I just want to honestly say Hawa and her salon with her staff has really fallen off bad. I took my son there at 4:30 and stated I wanted box braids like this (pic below) I was in the process of taking out his previous braids. Hawa tell me to pay $10 more and they will help me take out the braids (ok fine) after taking out his braids, I then had to ASK them to wash it prior to braiding it (which is $10 more, fine) They talked about us and had an attitude( another que of many to just leave before they even start) I then said just disregards the wash and do the box braids. I left and returned 3 hours later and couldn’t believe what I saw. Before I could even say anything Hawa tells me “her hair so thick”. She had to use grease to do his hair because it’s so greasey. The braids were sticking up and going in all different directions, I couldn’t believe they thought that was ok! I was so disappointed, I refused to pay and after many years and a few recent incidents of disappointments I will never go back there again. Hawa just doesn’t really care anymore and you can really tell. They literally ruined my whole night and now I have to spend time out of my vacation to redo my sons hair.

I went there to get my hair braided. They told me yes I can help you just let me finish the top of the customer hair I’m working on. I sat for two hours while they walked around doing multiple people hair. And then someone came in after me and because they were getting something simple they went before me. Other customers complaining of being there since 9 and still not done and it was 5pm. I got up and left. If you already have to many clients just say no and give another time stop trying to be greedy for money but giving bad customer service.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI was charged $20 more for a service that was supposed to be $40 !! I came Saturday afternoon and it was busy. I ended up here for over three hours for a service that typically should take no more than an hour and a half. Every time I ever got this service here, they charged me $40. All of a sudden now, the owner wants to say that because it took so long, she’s charging me $60. What does yall being busy have to do with me?? The only reason it took so long was because of the fact that I was here sitting and waiting for them to finish blow drying my hair after they washed it. I literally sat for an extra hour just to wait for the lady to blow dry my now DRY hair. absolutely ridiculous. I won’t be coming back. And last but not least, the shop is just dirty as hell. None of the customers were asked to wear masks. The hair style was done in 30-45 minutes, but was very sloppy. Will not return. Would advise others to steer clear.
