I came here for a pedicure and it was great, I liked it so much I came back to get dip polish on my nails. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, this is 5 days after I got them done. I am used to my dip nails lasting at least two weeks and sometimes a month before the dip starts peeling up, so I am super sad about this already being ruined and it was a waste of $50. The filing tool was also used too close to my skin and cut me a few times, and you can tell that the manicure itself just doesn’t look great.

Visiting Philadelphia for a couple of days and this salon was close to the hotel and looked quaint. Normally anytime I visit a nail place its for a pedicure and never treat myself to getting my hands done, so I asked for a manicure and to get tips./ extensions. I didn’t have an appointment, but there was only one other client and it was a Wednesday morning, for starters she acted like my walking in was in and of itself a burden, then proceeds to ask what I wanted. I haven’t had my hands done in years so, to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to ask for, so I asked for acrylics and she said they don’t do that but could give me tips. Ok, then tips it is! She proceeds to slap on the glued tips, no cleaning hands, cutting cuticles, no manicure, and when I asked her about this she said they don’t do cuticles before putting on tips. Ok then…I am no expert on what great nails are supposed to look like, so I will let the photos speak for themselves, but truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

I’m a Flight Attendant and I was in town for Memorial Day weekend. I decided to treat myself and get my toes done. I stumbled upon Gomo’s Nail Spa. I walked in and asked if they have any available appointments for the day. I was able to get in at 15:30. The nail technician I had was Fang*. I really enjoyed this pedicure. She took her time and did a great job. For $32 the hot stone massage and paraffin wax was awesome! She also gave me a shoulder/back massage. Would recommend to anyone.

I came here because it was close to work and seemed to be the cheapest option for a pedicure ($32 which isn’t even cheap but beats the other places nearby). Everything was fine until the nail tech started putting the polish on. I noticed the polish looked kind of worn out and old and told her that it seemed gooey on my nail and was creating bumps. I said let’s change to another polish and she refused saying it will flatten out as she adds on more layers. Absolutely not. It got worse, as one can logically assume. I told the nail tech to just remove the polish because I’d rather have no polish than this bumpy uneven bs and and refused saying it looked good. She didn’t even clean the sides or anything. Very quick Mickey Mouse job. So disappointed. This was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Literally don’t waste your time coming here.

Not sure how this isn’t rated 5/5, but I just had the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had. Get the spa pedicure…worth every penny. Even came with a little neck/back massage at the end. Wow! I’m sure all the techs are great but I had Joice and will request her next time. Well done! Pedicure

Had an amazing time getting my gel manicure. It was a walk-in, the technician was very kind and the place is spic and span. She helped me pick the colour, was extra careful with my cuticles (that invariably always bleed when I get manicures) and I got a free paraffin wax treatment! Prices are so reasonable and the salon is right in the centre of the city. I think this might be my favorite nail bar in Philly now. Also – they had cute pet and baby videos playing the whole time.

Do not come to this shop. Service was horrible. Asked for SNS and was given gel polish because SHE thought my nails were strong enough. Polish was BAD could still see my nails and coats not consistent. Had a wedding that day and had to pay them $38 for the WASTE of TIME and then had to go to another salon and pay another $40 along with an additional 2 HOURS to get them fixed. Did not even want to stay in the shopped to have them fixed because it seemed super apparent service and end product would still not meet any acceptable level. Do NOT waste the time or money unless….nope just go somewhere else.
