Today was my first time here, I think I got lucky because I hear they are extremely busy but I sat in a chair within a minute. Its 20 for a walk in or 25 for an appointment which is the cheapest cut I’ve had in SB but also the best cut I’ve ever had. Mauricio paid attention to every detail on how I wanted my hair, he also asked to double check before he made a move. Very quick, friendly and professional. I’m the type to hop around barbershops but Mauricio was so good, I’m going to stick with him.

This was my first time going to this barbershop. I decided to go because it had a good rating of 4.6 stars. I told my son to call so we know how much they charged. The guy said that it was $20 for an appointment and $25 for a walk-in, it didn’t make any sense to me why the $5 difference but since we were making an appointment I decided to go. After my son and I finished getting our hair cut they charged us $25 each making it a total of $50. Really? $50 for 2 haircuts? I guess it is not as much the coast, which in my opinion it’s still expensive but the fact that we were deceived that really bothered me. I personally will never go back.

My son asked for a haircut for his birthday, but is afraid of the machine bc a bad experience. They adjusted and used scissors and gave my son an excellent experience. Thank you so much he’s really happy with his haircut.

Pete is a great barber and an even better guy. He does a lot in the community, and he runs his shop like a family which shows in the nostalgic, homey atmosphere of the shop. All of the barbers are talented. My personal barber, Mr. Al Jones, recently moved away, but I’ve gotten cuts from most of the other barbers, and I’ve never been unhappy with the cut. Pete’s by far the best, but he keeps a tight crew. Besides Mr. Al and Pete, Louie is also pretty good with Black hair, but that’s not to take away from Mauricio and Cisco. I’ve seen both of them cut, and Mauricio has cut my hair before and done well. Walk-ins are welcome, but I recommend making an appointment otherwise you’ll be waiting a while. This is a great place for anyone looking for a classic barbershop: no gimmicks, no frills, just skills, and plenty of trash talk.

Sure the wait is long but obviously if someone is good at their craft you are going to have to wait to be served. And most people who walk in and get served immediately have an appointment. At first I was annoyed but then I ask, and now I take full advantage of that service.

Horrible! Waited for over an hour to get my kids cuts because a coworker recommended them. No hello, how can we help you. We sat and waited while other customers came and went after us. So dissappointed and a wasted drive!

Really like the way they cut my kids hair, all three of them; Alex, pete, pedro. I don’t mind the wait at all, however when they start cutting people’s hair that walk in after my kid waiting for a while, that’s when I get P.O! I’m starting to think maybe they need to have a number system just saying. As much as I liked their haircuts, We’re not going back. It was nice while it lasted.
