Hands-down best hair salon in Chicago for all your hair coloring, cuts, and EXTENSION needs!! Cindy, the owner, is professional and really does an AMAZING job each time on my hair. The other stylists, Val and Josie, are also equally amazing and well-trained estheticians! I would recommend anyone to try this place out- you will definitely not be disappointed!! 🙂

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI scheduled an appointment with Goldiloxx on January 12th at 11:45 am. When I arrived I got a bad impression. The door wasn’t open yet so I had to wait outside. Upon entering the salon, there was the distinct smell of burnt hair or plastic. I wanted my hair to be toned and bleached in preparation of dyeing my hair purple . If you have social anxiety, STAY AWAY. Cynthia came across as stuck up and really RUDE.The cost of the service was more than the website suggested. Cynthia said, “I can’t do a half-backside job” when I said I only needed a bleach and tone and I’d dye at home. She was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Cynthia then said she couldn’t refund my money, “I can’t return your $150, you might as well get it done”. She tried pressuring me into getting the service which resulted in me having a massive anxiety attack. I didn’t use her service, because I was so upset. I left the salon in tears. I scheduled an appointment with Goldiloxx on January 12th at 11:45 am. When I arrived I got a bad impression. The door wasn’t open yet so I had to wait outside. Upon entering the salon, there was the distinct smell of burnt hair or plastic. I wanted my hair to be toned and bleached in preparation of dyeing my hair purple . She listened carefully to what i wanted and knew exactly what i was asking for and dealing with my hair texture.
