Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had high hopes for this place for great massage but was greatly disappointed. First of all, the massage was not great. She had a very weird technique and was not a typical Asian deep body work (I live in queens NY where I’ve had plenty of great Asian massages). I told her to focus on my back mostly but she focused on my bottom instead. She was very unprofessional in many ways. She was present while I was undressing. She kept talking to the other masseuse while she was massaging me, which was not relaxing. She kept exposing my breasts when massaging me, which made me uncomfortable. Worst of all, she demanded a 30% tip at the end of her bad service, which I didn’t comply to and was very offended leaving the place. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It’s overpriced for bad unprofessional service. Tips are customary and should be left up to the customer. I had high hopes for this place for great massage but was greatly disappointed. First of all, the massage was not great. She had a very weird technique and was not a typical Asian deep body work (I live in queens NY where I’ve had plenty of great Asian massages). It really pains me to write this review, mostly because the service itself (30 minute massage for $45) was good and actually left me WITHOUT pain. However, that all changed when I went to pay. The masseuse questioned my 20% tip, telling me that 30% is normal. This actually caused me to google on the spot and question what I have always understood about massage tipping etiquette. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThis was the best massage I’ve had in my life ! I am 40 years old, I’ve had a lot of massaged sure multiple arthritic ailments . Also, 4 back surgeries, 2 knee , lots of falls . Four of my falls were suffered over a period of the last 7 days m. Which made my pain intolerable. I needed a professional, immediately, who knew what they were doing and able to treat with a “fragile touch”! WOW!! Just amazing ! Immediately I can walk better, so much pressure was relieved! She was able to physically feel and manipulate the tightness of the muscles and neves to a more manageable pain level. She also knew where they were. As a good therapist does. Very professional, and the cleanliness was above average. I was comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed every moment of those 60minutes. I enjoyed so much and felt such a difference in my gait and mobility, booked a 90 minute massage for 5days later. Thank you , thank you for relieving some of the chronic pain today . Words can not express what you have done for me today. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone for their knowledge, empathy, cleanliness for the privateness given during a full body as massage session. Everyone was so nice . Four of my falls were suffered over a period of the last 7 days m. Which made my pain intolerable.
