I never leave reviews, but I loved my experience at Golden nails. The new owners are so great and made great conversation with me during my manicure. It was reasonably priced and the quality was so good for the area. I am on day three of my manicure and have no chips or scuffs, I can see this lasting two weeks easily. Definitely the best nail place in Stow to get your nails done!

I never leave reviews but my experience was so great!! The new owners really care about doing a great job. I came in with misshapen acrylic nails wanting a fill. I figured there wasn’t much they could do because I had gotten them done at another salon but still wanted to get them filled nonetheless. Kim was so caring and made sure to take the time to make them look the best they could and went out of her way to reshape them. I’m so happy with my results and the new family who owns Golden Nails is so kind! 10/10 recommend 🙂

I went to golden nails religiously before Kim retired. I went to today and I was nervous as Kim has been the only person i’ve trusted to get acrylic nails with for over 6 years. My wife took our 9 year old there for a special birthday treat. My wife came home mortified that the associate there weight shame my 9 year old daughter. In front of my daughter. Here is what my wife said what happened: My daughter who is 9 wanted a mani pedi for her birthday. I looked at a few places and also asked around. I found a cute place here in stow called Golden nails salon. On the website they had very cute princess looking chairs. That’s why I picked it. So, I called on Saturday to make an appointment. I said I need an appointment for a mani pedi I said for my daughter they asked how old she was I told them 9. She said it would be considered a kids treatment. Sweet cool. So, we have our appointment today my sweet girl is so excited. When we get there we pick out nail polish. Someone comes and get us they put her in an adult chair. I didn’t say anything bc it was almost 5 and they close at 6 so I thought maybe they didn’t want to have to clean another chair or something so I didn’t question it. She was loving life. After they did her feet they had another lady do her nails. As she sat down she told me she was going to charge us regular price for both treatments… I said no, she is a kid and I was told I was going to be paying kids prices. The associate told me no she doesn’t fit into the kid Chairs. I said she is 9 they asked me over the phone her age not a weight. What is the weight requirement to pay kids prices. She said never mind I will do it this one time. This all in front of my 9 year old. I have never been more upset and hurt. So now we weight shame at a nail salon it’s not base on age !!! What in the world. So no thanks never going back there !!… I messaged them on their Facebook page expressing my concern And they just blocked me with no explanation.
