Positive: QualityI been going off and on to golden nails since I moved 4 years ago. Jennifer is friendly an always does my nails right. I also get gel powder/ gel polish on my nails and my toes. This is the worst acrylic fill I’ve ever received. And overpriced, especially for the quality. None of the nails are the same length, the acrylic is bumpy, and the polish is streaky. I also asked for them to be round….THAT IS NOT ROUND. But by the time the man had chopped down my nails, they were too short to round out and I did not want to sit there for another hour while he removed all of the acrylic and reapplied it. I was very vocal about what I wanted and what he was doing wrong, yet he continued to not care. He also burned the tip of my finger when he chopped the nail down with the electric file, or grinder, or whatever you call it. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Go to Garden Nails on S. College where they are less expensive and MUCH higher quality.

I usually go to a nail salon right down the road from my house but they close at 7:30 so when I found out that Golden Nails, which is located in Independence Mall stays open until 9 so I decided to go there. I think they did a pretty decent job.

We spent a lot of money in this salon only to be disrespected and yelled at by Jennifer after she told me to come back and she would fix them. When I returned, she became angry after I refused to let her patch up a few nails when obviously all of the nails were done wrong. She had already admitted that she didn’t do them correctly, while admitting to that she, in turn, tried to blame me for her shoddy work in front of her few customers. She yelled, snatched my hands, and fussed the entire time. We spent a lot of money in this salon only to be disrespected and yelled at by Jennifer after she told me to come back and she would fix them. Probably one of the absolute worst places I’ve ever gone and gotten my nails done! And we tried 3 different people! The one older lady argued with me and my daughter the entire time she was getting her nails done on every single detail my daughter pointed out or just asked to have done! Everything was “wrong” or “she couldn’t do it” or “it was going going to look terrible, but if thats what my daughter wanted then she would do it.” It was a horrible experience. I have never done this before but I was honestly ready to just tell my daughter to get up and just leave without having anything finished it was that bad! The guy that did my nails was not much better. Except for that he didn’t argue with me about what or how I wanted my nails he just acted like he understood and then did what he wanted anyways. So needless to say I spent well over $100 and my 8 year old was the only one that was happy with what she had done. Simply because all she asked for was to have her own finger nails painted!!!

The old lady who works there is extremely rude. She did my friend lashes and they were slanted on her face! So bad. Then I was getting my nails done and she didn’t understand the design I wanted. Stood up screamed I was annoying and then refused to finish my nails. Her coworker had to finish them for me. Completely unprofessional. Not to mention the nail clippings all over her work space from other clients! Unsanitary and unprofessional! Save yourself time and frustration and find a real nail salon.

This was my first time going there. Alot of salons were closed, or closing early. I went to the salon I’ve been going to for 19 years. I walked in about 5 after 4,and was told no more clients. There was no line, and it was mentioned they didn’t need to make any more money. I searched, and found Golden Nail Salon. I was taken immediately to a chair. All I was having done was a toe nail polish change. I was treated like I was spending a million dollars. I was extremely happy with EVERYTHING. I was now have a new nail salon.
