Best experience with a nail salon in the DMV. I keep it simple in look, but not so simple in work. Cindy did such a great job on my American-style full set gels manicure and pedicure, you get a photo of the manicure which Cindy graciously took for me. They look elegant and they’re strong! The closest thing to the real deal I’ve had so far and that’s just the way I like them. Cindy is patient, interesting and very talented. The price is not low, but reasonable. I’ve already booked my gel fill. The staff is accommodating, easy to work with and consistent. And they find the time to fit you in so you don’t have to call back or wait several days for an appointment. They make it work and the result is a 5-star experience. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful mother-daughter mani/pedi outing at Golden Nails. Tina was my technician and was wonderful. Full leg and foot treatment. I am ticklish but Tina managed to keep it to a minimum. A week later my polish…both hands and feet… looking good! Thank you Golden Nails. No wait. Ok with using my own polish. Super friendly people. Have been going here for years. Highly recommend.

My 15 year old daughter came here and asked to have her nails done. Nothing fancy, just regular nail polish. The person doing her nails said it would be less expensive to get the gel nail polish than to get the regular nail polish. She said it would be $14 instead of $18 for the regular. My daughter thought that was weird, but agreed. When she checked out, the charge was $35! I went in the next day to ask why and was told those were the usual student rates and there was probably some confusion because the person doing the nails does not speak English well. So, the charge was for the correct amount, but they basically pressured a 15yo girl into spending more money on something she didn’t want. True, gel nail polish may last longer, but what 15yo is going to have the same nail polish for 2-3 weeks? Poor language skills on the part of the employee is no justification for not doing what the customer wants. I will encourage her to NOT return to this shop.
